  1. It's also the drama from the past few years. 13 seconds. Damar Hamlin. Snowstorm. etc. Hamlin was a global news story. So many people who have no interest in sports learned about the Bills.
  2. Great stuff. Especially about testing against perceived failures like a computer program. Never thought of it like that. Intense QA testing before dynasty launch. I suspect this post was not 100% made in jest. Let’s hope this is the year all tests are passed and Allen can finally become Joe Montana. Also agree with the posters annoyed by the Schrödinger Cat poster. Stop trying to be smart and just be smart.
  3. People don’t like to be wrong. They’ll always be too hard on McDermott no matter what.
  4. I knew before I clicked on it that Barnwell would exclude all serious Bills candidates and choose a random out of the way hipster Bills choice to show how much smarter and more knowledgeable he is than everyone else.
  5. Agree. There’s nothing wrong. We just ran into a gauntlet. Great offense is back for Miami.
  6. It’s apparently everyone’s fault except the refs and the NFL.
  7. We’ll see an unexpectedly strong defensive performance from the Pats as Belichick figures out Brady easily. However, our D will get turnovers and we win a nailbiter. Bills 13-10
  8. If only the ignore button worked when posters made topics.
  9. This is going to be a tough game tomorrow. It’s Belichick and he can make your life miserable. We were born deserving the playoffs and super bowls so I don’t want to hear that mess whether we win or lose.
  10. Look I know you’re a big Allen guy, and you see the truth about him and the nonsense narratives. And BigDingus, I would usually never agree with him on anything, but YouTube or Reddit comments are a good insight into the mind of the average fan. If you really want to understand their views, gloss over the comments in the Sherman/Keyshawn video. Despite the video being about Allen, the majority of the comments only wanted to talk about Lamar or Purdy. And whenever Allen was mentioned his turnovers and record were brought up and laughed out of the room. I want to make clear that you are right about Allen. He deserves MVP. But this is what we are up against. You can deny it and ignore it, but it is what it is. We’re living in bizarro world.
  11. The INTs wouldn’t be such a big deal if it was a different QB. It’s only a big deal because it’s Allen, and he brings out weird vibes from people.
  12. Insanity. But I guess you’re just following the narratives. We’ll see over the next few years.
  13. Lawrence has been playing hurt all year. Don’t downgrade someone for showing toughness.
  14. There’s good discussion here but in general the public perception is: ”Allen for MVP? Hahahahaha. They’re going to miss the playoffs because of his turnovers!!!” That’s the level of discourse and thought we’re dealing with.
  15. Notice it’s always the downer fans that tend to run to support opposing team QBs? Why is that? Maybe that’s the conversation we should be having.
  16. Any team can lose to any team any given week. But very few can beat any team any week.
  17. Mahomes getting a taste of what Josh Allen dealt with most of his career.
  18. Here’s the 1999 issue of THN where they rank Hasek #95. This would’ve been near the end of his Sabres career and his NHL peak. He won a cup with the Red Wings in 2002 on a stacked team. https://thehockeynews.com/news/the-top-100-nhl-players-of-all-time-throwback-style
  19. He was known as great, but not GOAT. At least outside of Buffalo, in hockey history circles.
  20. He is now. It was only after he retired did the hockey buffs really accept him as GOAT level. Maybe in Buffalo.
  21. He won the Vezinas and Harts but he was not looked at in the same historical light as Roy or Plante or Sawchuk at the time. Main reason was no cups. Second was being in small market Buffalo. And third was the European bias which was much stronger back then. Another reason is he came to the league when he was nearly 30 playing most of his early career in the Soviet controlled Czech Republic so his win totals weren’t high. It was only after retirement did he start being seen as the #1 or #1A goalie of all time (next to Roy).
