  1. Apparently Mark Hamill pitched to JJ Abrams years ago a plot that involved what Doc has suggested. And I've seen lots of news outlets suggest that's what it could be. IMO, I hope it doesn't go that way, I think it's too obvious of a story line and doesn't explain why there would be so much time between A New Hope and this movie. I am sure the writers could come up with some sort of explanation but I honestly I would feel a bit let down, in terms of story line.
  2. Yea but c'mon, he's in his 5th NFL season, that says it all. He should be a seasoned veteran.
  3. Yea he missed Gragg twice on that drive. The deep throw, if he hits Gragg in stride, there is no one behind him and he could have waltzed into the endzone. Then he misses wide open in the corner of the endzone.
  4. It was an absolutely brutal call. I was on the side of the field where the play happened, I have no idea what the official saw or what he thought he saw AND from where he made the call he couldn't see what effect Robey had on the play. He could only see what the Jags WR was doing. My guess is that he sees the Jag WR fall down and assumes Robey is the reason he fell.
  5. Loads of Bills fans on regent street. Don't know if I'll make it to the Bills backers event tonight but I'm showing up at the stadium early tomorrow. There will be more events there.
  6. Looks like Pinto Ron made the trip as well. I think the Bills will be heavily supported.
  7. Steve Smith. I think he's the only one that could possibly be on the table. It's tough to decide what to give up because you are only getting him for the rest of the season. A 7th rd pick maybe? That turns to a 6th if the Bills make the playoffs or something.
  8. Still hasn't practiced. I'd say he's doubtful.
  9. Well they still have to play the games, so lets see what happens. If the defense can't be dominate against the Jaguars 18.8 PPG and 24th ranked run offense, then we can talk.
  10. Thurman and Jim are hosting a wing eating contest. I got an email about it. That didn't have a time on it either but could be interesting.
  11. Right, like I said when getting on a plane to the UK all you need is your passport. When you arrive and they question you that is them approving or denying your visa on the spot. The landing card is part of the process. They don't require a mass amount of information from you if your story for coming to the UK seems plausible and they don't want to put tourists, which generate a lot of money, through a lengthy process. If you do anything wrong while you are there, it terminates your visa. When you plan on staying longer, the visa process gets longer and requires more information.
  12. I'm leaving tonight gents, hope to see you all on Regent St and at the game on Sunday.
  13. This isn't true, at all. A visa is still required to gain entrance to the UK, it's called a visitors visa or a standard visa. Visas are endorsements that allow a person to enter a country for a specified period of time. Each visa has a specific set of rules. I think what you are thinking is that you don't need to apply for a visa before your travel, which is true you can just hop on a plane with your passport and go to the UK. Immigration in the UK will approve your visa on the spot if they think you will abide by the rules set forth for a vistors visa. If they don't think you will, they will deny you and send you home. I travel back and forth to the UK regularly and have a leave to remain visa for the UK.
  14. When you visit another country and enter that country you are granted a temporary visa. It's called a visitors visa.
  15. Yea most personal things, you would believe, could wait. We are just left to speculate.
  16. Personal could be for loads of reasons. Maybe he can't get a passport... or wouldn't be allowed into the UK. Who knows.
  17. Definitely Luke and there is a brief shot of Leia hugging Han. Thats it.
  18. I can do this too, manipulate statistics. The Titans are 4th in the league in percentage of drives ending in scores at 28%. They also have the lowest average plays per drive in the NFL at 5 plays and they are 5th in the NFL in average yards per drive at 28.6. You can point to PPG game all you want but at 5 games in all the Titans need is one game to throw those stats off. The sample size isn't big enough yet. Whereas through 56 drives against, a larger sample size, the Titans defense are tops in the league not allowing scores, not allowing plays and not allowing yards when their defense is on the field.
  19. So I watched the trailer about 5 more times, then I went back and watched all 3 in order. I like it much more now. I like that I now have a very small idea of what the story is but don't have answers for a lot things as well. If you watch them in order the story slowly revels itself. It feels very epic. Very excited for this.
  20. This was certainly the least exciting of the trailers. They are doing a good job keeping Luke and Leia under wraps. I'm still just as excited.
  21. That kind of ankle roll happens, A LOT. I've seen it. Even at that slow of speed. The turf doesn't grip as much as its suppose to or it grips more than it's suppose to. Have seen it a lot in basketball games, a slow jog, player rolls ankle. It's happening at a bad time because Sammy if coming off another injury, opposite leg.
  22. Well he made the trip last night, so there's hope that it isn't that bad.
  23. Didn't see this posted: Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet No Kyle Williams (knee) but Sammy Watkins (ankle) is on the trip. Good sign for Watkins.
