  1. That was a dirty drive. Clay making his old teammates look bad.
  2. It's tough in the NFL when you don't get lots of turnovers every week.
  3. Damn, Sproles is sitting on my bench, thought they'd go more with Matthews.
  4. Why would he even try to lateral to Jeff Cumberland of all people?
  5. They must have showed it on the big screen, the fans were cheering but jesus its not even close.
  6. I thought he was worth a look but never thought the Bills should sell the farm for him.
  7. How bad do the Ravens look.... geez.
  8. His ball placement on throws is bad.
  9. Sounds like Chan Gailey. #5wide4life
  10. I'm watching RedZone they aren't ahowing much of the Jets/Iggles game.
  11. Yea that'll be interesting, he's never been a great route runner but has the speed. The problem is Fitz is horrible with the deep ball.
  12. Yup, Decker was targeted 11 times against the Colts, who double covered Marshall most of the day with Davis. Marshall will see double coverage against today, I would guess and it will be up to Kuerly or Smith to pick up the slack. Not sure how well Smith will be able to as he's missed a lot of time.
  13. Why is it assumed the Bills had the Cowboys "over a tree stump" as you put it? Being a GM isn't a simple as "we have a player you want, give us a higher draft pick." It's very possible when the Cowboys came calling Whaley asked for a higher draft pick, the Cowboys could have easily said no. They tried out Flynn and I'm sure there were other teams the Cowboys called about their backup QB. The Bills didn't have the Cowboys over a tree stump. Time becomes a factor in these discussions, the Cowboys need a decision from the Bills or they will go elsewhere. And Cassel is not worth more now to the Bills. As Roman said in and interview after they resigned Cassel, "He's a good QB to come in and finish a game...". Cassel was never going to be a long term starter if Taylor went down, he was going to be the guy who finished the game if Taylor went down. That's how the Bills saw him, a steady hand for that one game. The Bills obviously didn't think much of Cassel or they wouldn't have cut him in the first place. They wouldn't take that a massive risk like that if they really wanted Cassel as the back up. When he couldn't find another team and was willing to take a massive pay cut the Bills figured he might help them a little but you don't cut a player and hope you are able to resign him.
  14. That was my favorite part too. Haha, "poised", it's gonna happen.
  15. I'm confused why, "that's not going to happen against the Jets". Why can't it, is Revis going to guard Gronk and Edelman? They certainly don't have the LBs or Safeties to cover either. They have Revis, who will probably take away one of those 2 players, Brady will just go to the other. Cromartie isn't nearly as effective as he once was. He'll take the mismatches that he likes, which is exactly what he did against the Bills. EDIT: It's a hilarious article really. He's using the Jets "dominating" performance against the Colts as the reason the Jets can beat the Patriots. Gee, I'm pretty sure thats what every reporter, fan, etc thought about the Bills after they beat the Colts. I'll say it again, the Jets defense will not be able to sustain 5 turnovers a game and be lucky enough for a RB to fumble the ball before he walks into the end zone.
  16. The running game for the Dolphins has been pretty pathetic.
  17. This ones on me guys. Last week I wore my rather plain Bills tshirt and throwback standing Buffalo hat. This week I wore my 1988 AFC Champions Bills shirt and no throwback hat. My wife also takes some of the blame as my Bills plain tshirt wasn't washed and dried until after half time, when I promptly switched shirts.
  18. Supposedly they do... But they gave up 162 yards rushing to Washington and 122 yards rushing to Jacksonville. They also have 1 sack thus far.
  19. Yup. Their offense was stagnant for 3.5 quarters of football. They couldn't run the ball and the turnovers and their defense kept them in the game and when the Colts came back and scored to make it 10-7 their defense looked gassed.
  20. Completely agree with this. Also, 2 of the interceptions were in the 2 minute drill when TT is trying to make a play. The one that he missed to Clay was the most problematic because it put Brady and Co. on the Buffalo 30 and led to 7.
  21. Ah yes, Marv. I guess you never heard of the Bickering Bills? Or that lots of the team went out drinking the night before the Super Bowl?
  22. 10 turnovers in 2 games. Not sustainable. Two of those turnovers took points off the board for the Browns and points off the board for the Colts. Fitz still chucking the ball into double and triple coverage. I'd say somewhere between 7 to 9 wins is possible for them, depends on injuries.
