  1. Do we want to see offense or defense first?
  2. Possibly. It could also be that the Pegulas were new owners and were worried about the PR to cutting a popular player for both fans and businesses. So they told Whaley to at least bring him to camp.
  3. So what was he suppose to do? Whaley did the right thing and gave Fred advance notice in March, before he cut him, that he would be cutting him. Let him talk to other teams, let him get a deal done. Then the Pegulas step in and say, "You can't cut Fred he's too important to the community/team." What was Whaley suppose to do, ignore his boss? #GoRogue? So he tells Fred that he isn't going to cut him and now he looks like the bad guy. I don't really see a problem with what Whaley did, I honestly have more of a problem if the Pegulas are interfering with football decisions. Whaley is here to make football decisions, if that decision includes cutting a popular player, so be it. It happens.
  4. Whaley didn't say one thing and do another. The Pegulas stepped in and said to keep Fred, that wasn't Whaleys choice.
  5. Wasn't Whaleys fault though. Owners stepped in which should be a big no-no.
  6. Hourly, it looks like the rain will end by 9:00 am.
  7. I wouldn't say "great". He looked good but he had a lot of guys wide open. Speaking of, he missed a wide open Amendola. He let a lot of his playmakers, Gronk, do the work and the Steelers did a horrible job up front. 3 rookie OL and they had no answer up the middle. The only way they brought pressure was with a blitz.
  8. Left side bubble screen to Watkins for 5 yards. 13 first downs.
  9. Lets hope, this time round, the proper people in football ops were informed.
  10. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter Marcel Dareus' deal includes $60 million in guaranteed money, highest guarantee for a non-QB in NFL history. Dareus suspended week 1, too.
  11. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter Bills signed Marcel Dareus to a six-year, $108 million extension, per source.

  13. Steelers. Early in the season I find it very hard to route for division rivals. Towards the backend of the season, when the playoffs are on the line, it's different. What if the season plays out, Miami wins the division and the Bills are battling the Pats** for a wildcard spot. It'll be an interesting game because both defenses look bad. The Pats** have a very weak secondary and Brown could have a big night. The Steelers defense is a mix of over the hill players and young guys not yet in their prime. Brady isn't likely to see help from his RBs, whoever it ends up being.
  14. Shall we bring up again what PFF looks for in its "analysts"? They can and do have ZERO experience in grading players. Just apply and they will "train" you to use their system. It's kind of a joke.
  15. Agreed. His piece on Gilmore was very good.
  16. Eh, I tend to think "Weather Forecasts" more than 2 days out are fairly inaccurate. I remember when I was 16 and went on a field trip to Channel 10 NBC in Rochester, the Meteorologist at the station basically said to us that anything past 2 days is guess work. That was a while ago, not sure if much has changed.
  17. Well I guess if the Bills are doomed, there is no point in playing the games. Might as well not watch either.
  18. Those are basically my thoughts as well. His footwork is pretty bad but it's probably because he never gets under center. He's raw and if he comes out this year some team will fall in love with his measurables.
  19. Looks like they went rogue.
  20. Yea, that was the confusing part to me. It came across as "moves I disagree with" and some of these moves didn't even happen this offseason. It doesn't really talk about on the field production and talent except what happened last year under a different coach and a different QB.
  21. Of course, I think they've improved in a lot of areas as well. It's just an easy pick for national reporters because for the last 15 years Buffalo has been pretty much a cellar dweller. No surprise the other "cellar dwellers" are in the article as well(Browns, Jest, Washington, Jaguars, Raiders). He picked the Bills to be cellar dwellers in 2013 and 2014. If you look at 2013 and 2014 he picked pretty much the same teams. Anyways, winning cures all.
