  1. I'll never understand statements like this.
  2. Defending the move? How about just understand that the NFL is a business. That doesn't mean any of us who understand that think less of Fred Jackson. I love Fred as a player but this doesn't compare at all to when Thurman was released or when they cut Bruce Smith for cap relief.
  3. Maybe. Maybe it's so they can keep Thompson and Davis, who are young and could be good WR3 or WR4
  4. I think they only want to carry 3 RBs so they can carry 6/7 WRs or 4 TEs. Hate to see you go Fred but understand the decision.
  5. That and at other positions. I imagine they don't want to keep 4 RBs when there is a lot of talent WR.
  6. Tough to tell with Green Bay and N'Orleans as Rodgers and Brees haven't played much. Ingram has looked good in extended duty and Cooks looks like the reliever N'Orleans was hoping for last year, before he was injured. Rivers played in his first preseason game this weekend, he looked good. Targeted Stevie a bunch.
  7. Yea they have looked solid. Their LB's still look bad. Agreed and teams are starting to frustrate Beckham Jr.
  8. They've had some trouble in the RedZone from what I've seen. Chase Daniels has had more success than Smith but they will lean heavily on Kelce, again.
  9. Yea I don't put much stock in their performance against the Giants, the Giants defense looks bad. Fitz did have a couple nice throws though and Ivory looks good.
  10. I've watched just about every preseason game, there have been some bad offenses. Seattle hasn't scored a TD with their first team offense. Denver has looked bad too. On the flip side the Eagles have looked very strong. The Jest looked pretty good and moved the ball well against the Giants. The Dolphins looked good the first 2 weeks and then against Atlanta they had some problems.
  11. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet Wow. Colts have released offensive guard Donald Thomas. They just activated him off the pup list friday. So he now becomes a free agent.
  12. More whispers or opinion: 104.5 The Team Adam Schefter tells @MikeAndMike that he thinks Tyrod Taylor will be the starting QB for the #Bills
  13. @AdamSchefter: Rex Ryan hasn't informed any QB of any choice, but sounds like Tyrod Taylor has some mounting support. Rex knows how tough he is to defend.
  14. I still don't get the "he played the least so he will be ther starter". They only case where that is ever true is with elite QBs. A lot of the elite QBs haven't played a ton this preseason. Rodgers, Manning and Rivers have all played very little. Cassel is clearly not in this category and could use all the prep he can get.
  15. Haha this is hilarious. I pointed out your stupid logic first, go ahead and point back at mine I wasn't taking any sides of any player, you were. Please show me where I was making statements like "Tyrod Taylor's ceiling is that one drive" or "EJ can make throws TT can't".
  16. Yea I know what I wrote. I'm not taking any sides on any player so I'm not sure where the "your wrong" part comes in. You are making definitive statements about TT while using that same logic (preseason) to say why EJ is better.
  17. What are you talking about?
  18. Huh? You might need to read the series of post I was responding to.
  19. It's actually both. EJ is good and can make all the throws because of preseason and TT can't make all the throws because of preseason. But then EJ isn't good because it's preseason and TT is good because it's preseason.
  20. What throws? What reads? A throw to a TE? He completed a couple of those. An intermediate throw? He completed those as well. Do I know if TT will play as well as he has in the preseason in the regular season? No but the same goes for EJ.
  21. In a preseason game...
  22. And you somehow believe TT can't complete those same passes?
