I have no problem with the fact that I called them lousy. Again, you brought up McCoy, implying that these 3 RBs wouldn't be that far off from his production. Why did you bring him up if you don't think they would be just as good as McCoy? That's the basis for your entire argument, a running back by committee. You didn't say, of course not, you implied it.

In comparison to what McCoy will do this year and what is considered starting RB material the 3 of them combined weren't "reasonably effective" at all. They were lousy. And you compared them to McCoy. You also said that you feel the Bills could get by with a "running back by committee" and their was no reason to over pay for RBs.

That's what the conversation is revolving around though. JTSP is saying that Hill, Seale and Wood could be just as effective as McCoy, Williams and Jackson. Actually it's just McCoy because that's who he has it out for. He sees no point in McCoy being on the team and any ole tom, dick or harry can replace his production. My counter is no, they can't and wouldn't be as effective. I'm not arguing whether they were effective within there own abilities. Yup.

Tyrod Taylor Confidence Meter
Wayne Cubed replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I say it's 35%-50%. Thought he showed he can be consistent and smart in the pocket, converting 4/6 on 3rd downs and going 7/10 passing. If he can come close to replicating that in the regular season, he can definitely put up Alex Smith or Ryan Tannehill numbers. -
It was a tad underthrown, not SO underthrown. Underthrown or not it was a catchable ball. Watkins, Harvin or Woods catches that ball. If we are going to talk about bad placement lets be objective and talk about EJs bad throws. EJ had a couple bad placed throws but that seems to be just fine with you.

Yea that 22 yard pass, through the air, to Deonte Thompson where TT stepped up in the pocket and put it on the money. Or the two deep passes that Thompson should have caught. Passed 10 times, completed 7. Ran 4 times with 1 of them being a read option play. Was 4 for 6 on 3rd downs. Your takes are hilarious

He didn't play. I'm assuming most people would rather have a tie in the competition go to the younger guys, at least that's what I think. Taylor looked as good as Cassel against Carolina, in this game. He was decisive made good throws and he has an added dimension of being able to use his feet, which Cassel doesn't. It was nice to see him stay in the pocket and deliver some nice throws. Taylor managed all of this playing without the top 5 RBs and the top 5 WRs. EJ looked good considering he was playing with some pretty bad skill players and the OL was a sieve. He made some nice throws when he had time and was able to lead the only TD drive and convert on the 2 pt conversion.

Dungy adjusted to Patriots bugging lockerroom
Wayne Cubed replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea I don't think anything ever came of it, someone anonymous came forward and gave details of what was going on. State police interviewed people because that's all they could really do and found no evidence. Still doesn't mean it couldn't of happened because they didn't investigate it until 2012, 8 years after the fact. Yea it seems like all they did was interview people as part of the investigation. It would be pretty difficult to find solid evidence 8 years after the fact, plenty of time for them to destroy any evidence. -

Micky Loomis could apparently eavesdrop on visiting coaches and he was doing for a couple years I believe. The Saints installed the device in 2000 and it was suppose to be for listening to his own coaches or something but he had it switched to visiting coaches when he took over in 2002. I can't remember the whole story. -
Brady 4 game suspension upheld; Will go to court
Wayne Cubed replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So there are parts of Johnny's rumor that are a bit confusing if true. - If the league was worried about getting egg on it's face from Belichick cheating again, why allow him to coach another year? Why not just say, "Bill after your Super Bowl win, it might be time to ride off into the sunset"? If anyone ever found out, which apparently someone has, the league would be left with even more egg on their face after they KNEW Belichick cheated again but allowed him to coach another season. That just seems a bit ridiculous. Also it doesn't invalidate the past 10 years of football, maybe it invalidates the Patriots** SB wins, but there were 7 other teams who won SB's. - Also, why choose Brady as the fall guy? Why not just pin it on the two idiots? Instead they pick one of the most popular athletes in the game, seems odd? This is not to say that Belichick knew nothing of what was going on, it wouldn't surprise me if he did. I just don't think there is some huge cover up and league conspiracy to let Bill !@#$ing Belichick coach one last season of football.
