  1. Chan did more with less, imo. Hackett was frustrating with how predictable it was at times. Hopefully he continues to grow as a NFL coordinator.
  2. IMO, it is pretty important. It's a barrier being broken down. In the hunt for equality in our society, it's another step in the right direction. In the future, it'll hopefully be a non story, but for now it very much is. Congrats to Michael Sam, and kudos to the Rams. Hopefully his teammates embrace him. Hopefully his opponents respect him as much as the next guy.
  3. Indeed. And they shouldn't. They are highly entertaining games that pull big ratings.
  4. This is the first time I've heard people think EJ sucks and we should draft someone.
  5. At first I was all "man, why would a dude be so desperate to wear a !@#$ed up jersey like that?" Then it hit me. *slow clap*
  6. If he can contribute to the team, sure. If it's just to say "hey, we got a gay guy", no thanks. I hope he finds a team and success in the NFL, but I don't think he should be used as a publicity stunt, or circus side show.
  7. They grade him as a round 2 pick... We get him in round 5, and it's a B- pick. Well, ok.
  8. Tall is height Long is wingspan
  9. I like that he has experience at tackle and guard.
  10. I wanted us to take two OL who could potentially fight for starting spots, and we did. I wanted a play maker WR or TE, and we got one. I wanted depth in the front seven, and we got one. I wanted depth in the secondary, and we got one. I wanted a backup plan for FJ/CJ and we got one. I'm very pleased so far.
  11. Was thinking of picking up a RB in round 5 maybe? Not needed now that the Brown trade happened?
  12. It really depends on how he performs this year, imo. It's not happening before the season, though.
  13. The way the the Bills FO is acting, they want to win this year. Murray wouldn't really give us more wins this year. We could use guys who can contribute on special teams, and depth along the OL, and front seven, at this point.
  14. I know Twitter doesn't mean anything... but I like what I see on his feed.
  15. Watching his highlight package, one thing stands out, he has good vision in between the tackles. He's constantly making cuts back towards the middle of the field, instead of pushing outside. He seems to be sneaky in breaking tackles. Just the sort of guy we need.
  16. Yeah, I was strictly talking about this year. As of right now, we might not have FJ or CJ next year. So it's good we're starting to explore RB a bit.
  17. More likely a 3rd RB to back up FJax and CJ.
  18. Wait... did we just effectively trade Stevie for Bryce Brown? Hopefully the kid lives up to his 2012 stats, minus the fumbles. Never really seen him play though.
  19. To be fair, they were asked to run different routes. Woods had longer routes, and Johnson was more of an underneath guy for us last year.
  20. Know nothing about him... liked what I saw on the highlight package. Only real reservation is how high he tackles. That'll cause some missed tackles in the NFL, imo (bigger stronger backs/tight ends).
  21. I'm in the "I don't like it camp" Simply because he is/was our most proven WR on the team. Which is fairly important considering we have one rookie, two guys in their second year, another who is a big question mark, and a third year guy who has hands of stone. To me, it's another huge risk, and a hole made. That all being said, I *understand* the decision. He doesn't match the coaches, and might not have chemistry with EJ. But still... I feel like we should have kept him at least through pre-season to figure out what we have all together. Hopefully it works out. Both for us and Stevie. I like Stevie, I feel like he's a genuinely good guy. I wish him the best of luck in San Fran. My fingers are crossed tightly that Watkins, Woods, Goodwin, Williams, and Graham can come together to make a competent receiving corps.
  22. Guess we value Hogan over SJ. Or something?
