  1. OT/OG are the next needs IMO.
  2. It's interesting that anyone who isn't 100% on board with this is questioned as a Bills fan, or is labeled overly pessimistic. Personally, I see this as a high risk, high reward. Two things have to happen for this to work out: - Watkins has to translate to the NFL. This is always a question for a rookie. That's why every year there are gems and busts. Giving up a first and a fourth for him, for any player outside of a Luck caliber QB is a risk. - EJ needs to develop into at least an above average QB. No WR is a stud WR without QBs throwing to him with at least some success. EJ last year showed he doesn't make very many big mistakes, which is awesome. But he also had a problem trusting WRs to get open, or recognizing when they will be open. This is another risk, because we have no clue what EJ will become over the next year, and this trade effectively tells us that we are "all in" with EJ for at least the next two years. I'm hoping it works out. But there's a boat load of risk going into this. So it admittedly makes me very nervous.
  3. The pressure really is all on EJ this year. Man I hope he can do it.
  4. I'm only worried about it in the redzone, honestly. Hopefully EJ can see the field and predict routes better his second year
  5. He better be a game changer, other wise this will go down as one of the stupidest moves in Bills history.
  6. I don't think many people have a problem with something that'd be equivalent to that... like say the Florida Seminoles. The problem is "redskin" is a racist term for Native Americans/American Indians. Its kinda like someone a n*gger, sand n*gger, wetback, yellow, etc etc etc.
  7. I'd congratulate the kid for sticking to his ideals. He'd likely lose millions of dollars in the fiasco. Hopefully the NFL forces Washington to change their name soon.
  8. Unless we get Clowney, I have no interest in getting rid of Hughes/Lawson. We played a 4 man front for much of last year, with Hughes/Lawson splitting time opposite of Mario, it worked out fairly well.
  9. Considering we ran a 4-3 for much of last year, I imagine it'll be a similar rotation depending on the offense we are facing. Hughes, Lawson and Branch all lined up opposite Mario at one point or another. I think another guy or two, as well. Edit: Should say, we ran a 4 man front for much of the year. I think we played nickel quite often, like most of the league, because it's now a passing league.
  10. The country in general has turned towards the right over the last few months. It won't be surprising if the Republicans win a lot of elections in the coming year(s).
  11. 1st/2nd Rounds: Big WR (Evans) Dynamic TE (Ebron) Solid OL (fill in the blank) The rest: general depth at OL, LB and RB
  12. He seems a bit slow to me, but the Bills and EJ could benefit greatly from having a WR with size. I'm at the point where I don't have any strong opinions on who/what position we should draft. Seems there's pros and cons with everything, and it's all moot if EJ doesn't improve.
  13. That requires a vote, usually, no? Would people in NYC give a damn if the Bills get a stadium? I think the answer is no...
  14. I assume, like many new stadiums, it'll require state taxes to pay for it. Hope the rest of NY feels for the Bills like WNY does, heh.
  15. When there isn't enough jobs to employ those who want to work, the idea of "forcing someone" into government assistance seems kinda silly. It's a shame for those that need the system, that they get painted by the same brush that those who abuse the system deserve. One of my best friends recently lost his job, and is struggling to make ends meet through side jobs/self employment. He feeds his kids with food stamps. I don't consider him to be a lazy piece of ****, I consider him to be someone who ran into bad luck.
  16. My GF and I recently had an abortion. It wasn't an easy decision, but that was the choice we chose to make. She kept the sonogram as well. She didn't deal with the procedure in nearly the same optimistic way as the OP's video. I imagine different people deal with it differently.
  17. FYI, I'm fine with banning unions from lobbying as well as corporations. And also re-implementing campaign finance measures that were recently overturned. I like the ideas of unions in theory. But unfortunately many have become bloated and too powerful in certain ways, much like corporations and the rich. Unions should specifically be built to protect the individual, not built up to the point of bullying. My understanding of neo conservatism has generally been - aggressive militarily, pro christian values in government, and low, to no, regulations economically (basically Bush/Cheney types). If I'm wrong, my apologies, and thank you for the education.
  18. A++ thread. Would read again.
  19. That was kinda my point with my post Sharks aren't very dangerous to humans, overall.
