  1. If that's true (only took a week off), that's really impressive. Even if EJ doesn't work out, he has my full respect.
  2. Don't know him from the next guy, but it always sucks to see a career ending injury. Hopefully he has something else lined up in life, and I wish him the best of luck.
  3. Because the alien species could be a threat if they have the technology to be here.
  4. Martin commented on it.. basically explained how he saw the scene, but had nothing to do with it, and that the directors/producers/writers of the show changed it for their own story.
  5. They don't get paid for all the promo work they do as well?
  6. A very public face of a very rich franchise in a very rich sport? It's bull ****. Fireman Ed was just a fan the cameras zoomed in on at every game, no? The cheerleaders are actually employed by the team.
  7. He's just spreading the shocker.
  8. You're a legit reporter, and you have to deal with us !@#$s. Ornery is the least I'd expect
  9. Very true. I don't understand how they can be paid so little.
  10. What defines "drinking" consuming anything with alcohol? There's alcohol in a lot of things out there. Would be tricky!
  11. Yes, we all know the books are around. This thread is about the TV show.
  12. I really like when players show up for voluntary OTAs. Is there a list of players who aren't there? I need to sharpen my pitch fork.
  13. If 80% of traffic is moving at 70mph, and the speed limit is 55mph, and you're going the speed limit, you're endangering people. I know it sounds a bit backwards, but in this case, it's really about what the majority of traffic is doing. It's best to match speed with the cars around you. I take issue with people who are either going significantly faster than general traffic speed, or significantly slower. Exceptions lie on both sides for emergency vehicles, and commercial vehicles.
  14. I'm pretty sure all of us already know it's serious, simply from what we've seen and the fact that it reoccurred. Which is why all of us are sending well wishes, praying, sacrificing goats, whatever. Doesn't take a doctor, or a medical expert to get that.
  15. I find Littlefinger to be the creepiest character in the show so far. Part of me hopes he dies soon. Part of me hopes he somehow becomes the big baddie.
  16. I think Earth would become much more peaceful if/when we are presented with absolute proof of alien life.
  17. I'm glad he's a Bill. Even with his faults, he's still a playmaker, and he also seems like a really good guy.
  18. I'm glad there's a lot of ground support for keeping the Bills in Buffalo.
  19. I'd argue that going with the flow is a perfectly valid reason. I'd rather be moving at about the same speed as traffic than significantly slower or faster, simply for safety's sake. That being said, if going with the flow is just matching one other guy going faster than everyone else, that's different.
  20. Wait, now we're dumping on players for giving back to their communities? I'm no big TJ fan, but c'mon, that's reaching.
  21. a) The video has been removed from the OP. But I remember her passing a truck or something in the video. If I remember incorrectly, then my entire opinion goes out the window, and she shouldn't have been in the left lane. b) The left lane is commonly called the passing lane in many states. Some states have laws saying not to be in the left lane unless passing (I think PA is one). But really, its just about courteous driving. If you aren't actively passing people, and traffic is light, stay to the right. It helps traffic quality, because it's a common expectation of other drivers. But again, I stand by my opinion. If she is passing someone, then she is more than welcome to the left lane. After passing, it's best to get over. But I understand the hesitation to get over if you have someone driving aggressively behind you, as you don't know what they are going to do (ie, try to pass you on the right). So to me, in that case, its best to stay where you are, and let them make their pass (and in this case, swerve into a ditch). Edit: Found
  22. I kind of read it that he puts a lot of pressure on himself to stay in Buffalo, because he likes it a lot.
  23. I still don't see how this is a debate. If you're passing someone, no matter how slowly, you still have a right to the passing lane. If she was going 60, and the car she's passing is going 55, and the guy behind her wants to go 80, then the guy behind her needs to wait until she makes the pass, and gets over. But his aggressiveness makes it hard to predict if she can get over safely, or not.
