  1. Woah. Not sure how I feel about this. But, new times I guess. :/
  2. Ah, the thread moved... Metz basically covered my points.
  3. As I said elsewhere, my use of "expert" is a bit sarcastic. Mods, feel free to put quotes around the word, if necessary.
  4. From what I could tell, the Bills were looking for one of Watkins/Evans/Ebron, and we got one. Now we concentrate on OL, and depth at various positions.
  5. Whaley has put the tools in the right place, everyone agrees we have a good team on paper (assuming we get some OL help). I think coaches should be held accountable if we don't win this year, personally.
  6. Wait... what? Calling BS on this. He had 4-5 games where he performed very well imo. He also had his fair share of struggles in other games. But that's to be expected, considering he was a rookie.
  7. Great read. Incredibly informative. Who is this Graham fellow?
  8. Shh, they're experts. No disagreeing with them.
  9. I like Manuel better than any of the QBs in the draft this year, personally. But I'm no "expert".
  10. My initial reaction to this is too risky. But in general, I fully agree, we've been aggressive the last couple years, and I like it. Hopefully it works out sometime soon.
  11. I'm not trading SJ until we see what him and Williams do in the preseason, or maybe even the regular season. We have good players at WR, we are under the cap, I think we work with what we have, figure out what our best combo is, and go from there.
  12. It wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if Chandler has a good season. If teams are giving so much attention to our WRs that our TE has room to make us consistent first downs, it's a win win. The only thing that'd need to improve is punching in TDs within the redzone.
  13. I saw that guy in NOLA when I went a couple months ago.
  14. I use "expert" a bit sarcastically.
  15. That's the first positive article I've read from an unbiased source. Excellent, lets find more.
  16. C+ From SB Nation (5th? lowest grade) http://www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-draft/2014/5/9/5698154/2014-nfl-draft-grades-blake-bortles-johnny-manziel I hope this is one of those many times when the "experts" are dead wrong.

  19. All the experts are saying the Browns did great things in the draft so far, and the Bills are stupid. So... maybe you'll be ok.
  20. Ding ding ding. Exactly. As far as I'm concerned, the most likely scenario is that we have Watkins, SJ, and Woods as our "starters". It's possible that Williams pushes one of them out, but it really depends on how he shows up in pre-season. At worst, we have 3 guys who are starting caliber, which is better than last year. At best we have 5 or 6, depending on improvements Woods/Goodwin/Graham make, and depending on how Williams shows.
  21. The awesome thing is, we have a lot of talent to choose from. Training camp and pre-season will have these guys putting forth their absolute best to get playing time.
  22. Jesus... this got nasty Even if I think it's risky, I'm still excited to see what a combination the following can do: Watkins Johnson Williams Woods Goodwin Graham That's a lot of play making potential there. Hopefully we grab a solid OL with our next couple picks, give EJ some time to throw the ball, and make some stuff happen.
  23. Regarding SJ... I think him in Mike Williams are going to be fighting for a 2015 roster spot. We don't want to keep both of their contracts.
  24. Well, here's hoping we get him for a 5 year rookie contract
  25. To be clear, I said that there's risk with every player. Second, I know you don't get Luck with what we gave up. But there's an increased risk with every pick we give up for someone who depends on another player for him to develop, unlike a QB, who can single handedly change a team. So, imo, it's risky to give up picks for anyone outside a QB. I want to reiterate, I'm not question Watkins's talents. He looks like a stud. Hopefully he's what we need to get the offense over the hump.
