  1. News is nowhere to be found on ESPN... but PFT has it as the top story.
  2. Liking/Loving/Respecting FREDEX is significantly different than hailing him as some HoFer or something. Pretty much everyone here knows that Fred is a good RB, he's older and slower than he was, but he can still play. His heart, drive, and strong fundlementals make up for some loss of physical skill. Is he a top 10 RB in the league? Probably not. But can he still ball when the game is on the line? Clearly.
  3. At this point I'm more worried about Gilmore's cover skills than McKelvin's. Not because he has been bad, but rather because his game might not work with the updated rules and was burned a few times in the preseason. We'll see... No matter what, Graham is a nice problem to have, he's already proven his worth. Keep him on the field, as a CB, S, whatever.
  4. That's like a Pats fan who has been a fan of the team for more than 15 years.
  5. If EJ had the same game, ESPN's writing would have been *much* different. That's all the point I was trying to make.
  6. Miami has a new offense, and brand new offensive line... we have a brand new defense. I'm not confident in looking back at last year's games to make predictions.
  7. Post counts are kinda silly, so I vote archive/offload. That way, things could still be referenced, some how. I'd be willing to donate a bit, if there's big costs.
  8. Rich people are immune to the law, most of the time.
  9. We were getting gashed left and right until we started getting pressure on Jay. I'm not so confident in our defensive scheme this year, honestly. We came up with some opportune turnovers, but we won't get those every game. We need to not give up so many first downs. We need to make consistent stops.
  10. A win. That's really about it. Wait, wait... a win, while staying healthy.
  11. Honestly, I don't think there was one guy. Woods made a couple amazing catches. Graham made a couple gutty plays. Kyle Williams with that INT possibly saved the game. EJ played damn well, and honestly only made one bad decision (the INT).
  12. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/71806/geno-smith-kept-it-short-and-sweet Kinda funny.
  13. Ridiculous that smoking weed gets you in more trouble than this. What a chump.
  14. The whole game will depend on if our new defensive scheme can do what our old one did, or not. Fingers crossed!
  15. Hopefully Shwartz consults game film from Pettine's defense.
  16. So that's how the Big Bang happened...
  17. Edit: Didn't see that there was a better one already posted, whoops.
  18. I find no real fault in that play by Chandler. Ideally he would know the play ended and stop playing, but he didn't, and finished out his block. The Bears bench exploded, and a flag was thrown. Not a big deal. I'd be more angry about it if we lost... but he didn't do anything wrong, imo.
  19. "Predictions" are just that... predictions. Not future telling/facts. Hell if I *know* what's going to happen. I hope my predictions are gloriously wrong and we go 19-0!
  20. To be fair, much of what I've been saying this off season is that the team still has weak spots, but is better than last season... just the record might not reflect it. Biggest positives I took away were EJ taking some shots (even if one was a really bad idea), and the WRs basically catching everything. Biggest negative was our D turning into "bend, don't break". Giving up major yards and depending on turnovers will not make for a consistent winner.
  21. I'm still down on the team, but not AS down. Definitely some promising things seen, but also some worrisome things. Right now, I'm apprehensive, because it kind of felt like a win by the 2011(the year we went 5-2 to start?) Bills. Won by getting some luck Prediction was 4-12. Now it's 6-10
  22. Well, at least they didn't score a TD. Let's see how we shoot ourselves in the foot.
