  1. Reportedly their backups have good upside, and some think they're better than their starters... BUT... this is coming from Dolphins fans, so take with a grain of salt (like people take us with a grain of salt when we talk up some middling talent on our team )
  2. We have a different defense, it's a bit early to start making such bold predictions based on last year's teams.
  3. Not terrified at all. It's going to be a tough game. Miami got better over the offseason. We got better on paper, but our defense (which is what won us games against Miami last year) has changed. This is not going to be an easy game. Simple. That being said, I'm excited with all the great news lately. I won't be surprised if we lose, but at the very least the energy should be amazing.
  4. Ditto. But man am I pumped for this game. I think it's gonna be a close one. I hope the fans stay in it, no matter what happens though. Our guys need us!
  5. It's good to be playing against the Dolphins for first place in the AFCE again.
  6. Just from this discussion, it's pretty obvious that both teams are fairly evenly matched... with some advantages here and there for both sides. Most likely this will be a close game, and it should be exciting. Hopefully the Bills don't let the fans down.
  7. As much as things have gotten better on paper, it's all going to come down to results. If we finish sub .500, I can see him being cut, along with coaches and other FO personnel. Here's hoping that's all moot and we have a successful season.
  8. Simply put, Miami isn't the same team as they were last year. We aren't the same team as we were last year. As long as we get pressure on their QB, and stymie the run, we'll have a chance. On offense, we need to get rid of the ball quickly, as I assume the Dolphins will be bringing the pressure.
  9. http://www.forbes.com/sites/adamhartung/2014/09/05/obama-outperforms-reagan-on-jobs-growth-and-investing/ You'd think with his incredibly poor polling numbers, he'd have done significantly worse. Thoughts? Are Forbes and the BLS to be trusted?
  10. Lance Briggs had a rough day, damn.
  11. Any word on injuries yet?
  12. One game doesn't make a season. They still think the Bears are a better team than the Bills, and will finish with a better record. It's not rocket science.
  13. And he's still only the second biggest QB bust, behind our own EJ Manuel* * according to forum experts
  14. He doesn't talk much... or they edited out the juicy bits.
  15. Thanks for jinxing us, Rodak.
  16. At this point in his career? He's probably just slightly overrated by the locals. By national media, he's respected now (formally very underrated). So I don't know what to choose!
  17. I'd love to keep CJ, but we have Brown, and we can always find a good runner in the 2nd/3rd round of the draft if it becomes a need.
  18. Every comment stream I see basically throws the Bills under the table. "OMG ALLEN SUCKS, WHERE WAS HE?!?!?!? THE BILLS SUCK, CMON!" (ignoring that Glenn is a great LT) "OMG CUTLER SUCKS, THE BILLS SUCK, CMON!" (ignoring the fact that we rushed mostly 4 or 5 all day, and have one of the better DLs in the league) "OMG THE RUN D SUCKS, THE BILLS SUCK, CMON!" (ignoring the fact that we have one of the better running offenses in the league) This quote: "the defense made C.J. look like O.J." Makes me think the author didn't actually watch the game. CJ was largely contained for most of the game. The big yard numbers came on the back of Fred's 38 yarder, and Boobie's 46(?) yarder.
  19. FYI, they keep the URL consistent when updating... so you can always log in on tuesday and see how things go, if you care: http://espn.go.com/n...nkings/_/week/2 Edit: To expand, you can see previous years by modifying the following URL: http://espn.go.com/n...ear/2013/week/2 and there's always the team ranking page http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/rankings/_/name/buf/buffalo-bills
  20. Yeah, they posted it after I posted... damn you, ESPN.
  21. If this fully and officially goes through... a big thank you to the Wilson family and trust for helping keep the Bills in Buffalo.
  22. Hopefully CJ recognizes that having a RB by committee is good for his health long term.
  23. I like the bit about snow... hopefully he bundles up!
