  1. EJ was never fast. He's athletic enough to make a run happen, but he's not a fast/quick guy. He is bigger, he takes long strides, that's about it.
  2. Eh, he didn't really engage him, he ran to a spot, pushed off a bit, and turned around. If he would have grabbed him like a blocker, then there would have been a real issue. /BillsTintedGlasses
  3. So many of the players said they feed off the fans. Hopefully the fans show up just like they did for the Miami game. Keep the momentum going.
  4. I'm thinking 15ish... +/- 5 spots depending on the media source. When (if? ) we lose our first game, we'll drop 10ish spots.
  5. Clunky? Dude moves pretty fast for a big guy. His problem is he's simply not polished enough yet, imo.
  6. We did that Chandler block a couple times. Nice.
  7. I'm excited every game.. even when we suck. Can't help it.
  8. Someone tries to make one every year... I know there's one for 2012 out there too... it just depends on if there's any 0-2 win/loss teams, really.
  9. As Marrone said, it's nice having three starters.
  10. Whenever "X team beat Y team... who beat Z team" I'm always reminded of the very cool (at least to me) NFL Parity Wheel http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/wp/2013/11/26/nfls-circle-of-parity-in-one-neat-graphic-2013-edition/
  11. I enjoy looking at splits... I feel like they tell more of the story: http://espn.go.com/n...15803/ej-manuel He's only thrown 16 passes in the second half of games this season, compared to 31 in the first half. In the 4th quarter, he's thrown for 78% completion percentage... so being asked to not do much, but when he is called on, he's ready. On third downs he's passing for 62%, 9ypa, and almost averaging 5 ypc on keepers. In the RZ, he's 3-6, two TDs. To me, these things all speak towards someone who is improving and continuing to improve. These are clutch situations that he's performing in. Did he miss a couple passes that could have been TDs? Sure. Is he perfect? Nope. He's 12 games in, and is showing improvement, pretty steadily. Even if he stinks the place up this upcoming Sunday, to me, he's shown enough at this point to stick with developing him.
  12. If you hit someone else to the point of bruising them up/making them bleed, then you'd get charged with assault. If you beat your kid to that point, it's just discipline... Yeah, sorry buddy... just because our parents did it (my dad beat the hell out of me until one day I fought back and gave him a concussion), doesn't mean they were right to do so.
  13. The Bills suck because they best a team that best the 49ers. Are you sure you're not an ESPN analyst?
  14. If I'm counting right, he threw the ball 10 times in the second half.
  15. You're just full of info today.
  16. Those of us watching from home very much appreciate you guys at the stadium making it hell for opposing teams
  17. Gotchya... that makes sense, and that's good news. (vs injury)
  18. Was Spikes on the field much? I feel like I didn't see him much... hurt? Scheme? Watching Kyle Williams talk about football makes me think he's gonna coach when he's done playing.
  19. Gragg hasn't been a game changer yet... but I like what he's been doing on the field so far. I'm kind of wonder if he'll develop into something...
  20. FYI, there's only three teams in the league that have a higher +/- pts in the league.
  21. Wonder what the decision by the NFL will be about this going forward... the Ref technically charged a TO to the Jets by mistake, since apparently the HC is the only person who can ask for a TO from the sideline...
  22. Only by 1pt at home... so its really like we're a 2pt underdog
