He's a bit lazy, and a bit sarcastic about the team, sure, but let's not jump overboard on this article.

    Yes, they play inland a bit. It's regularly 10+ degrees warmer when you start heading inland. (I grew up, and lived in San Diego for 15+ years) Edit: The stadium is relatively close to La Mesa, CA, a suburb of San Diego.     Turnovers and special teams plays have played a part in us being behind in both of those columns, to be fair. For example, we didn't have the ball until late in the 3rd quarter because of CJ's TD return.     Yup, plea deal with a high priced lawyer on your side, means no jail time. Likely go through counseling and community service. NFL should suspend him for 6 games (equal to that of the new agreement on domestic violence). All pretty straight forward, imo.

    I'm going to go out on a short limb and say that the Bills aren't stupid enough to do that on a regular basis.

    Looks like the Cards (in the few highlights I saw) double covered Gates at times, but also put consistent pressure on Rivers to make him either throw the ball early, or cause him to make off balance throws.

    There's no doubt that there will be more than a handful of games in which we pick up "garbage time yards" as well. It tends to even out over the year, imo.
