  1. It's kinda cool how our current team has no problem putting rookies into starting roles.
  2. We've been winning with white though! White is easier for EJ to see! DOOOOOOOOM
  3. As much as this Sunday is important, there's a lot more games. I'd rather him be healthy than out every other week due to lingering issues.
  4. I used to live in La Mesa, I remember the summers getting pretty spicy some years... but that game on Sunday was definitely record setting
  5. The Chargers aren't exactly used to playing in 120 degree heat either. It's generally 90s or so around the stadium at the start of the season, dropping to about 60-70 by the end of the season.
  6. I, as well, am under the impression that the actions of players haven't gotten any worse, but the ability for us to find out about it, has increased a hundred fold. Multiply that by the need to be outraged, and we have our current situation. Abusers need to be punished, so I'm not offended that they are being outed, but I'm not about to act like it's a new thing.
  7. He doesn't need to run routes the same way, he generally has a LB on him... they just need to push him out into space, and EJ just needs to hit him in stride. The problem is, I think we keep our RBs back to at least chip block, then they go for simple swing/screen routes. I think... ....
  8. I'm surprised Safeties are bothering with deep routes, as EJ hasn't hit those with consistency (even with the great pass to Sammy that was broken up). You'd think they'd make EJ beat them deep, but they probably know better than I, so I'll just trail off here...
  9. WE'RE NUMBER ONE (in DAVE adjusted DVOA on FO's wildly varying early statistical rankings)
  10. Is there a source for 20+ yards in the air?
  11. Unsurprisingly, we are getting little play... but NE vs OAK... BIG DEAL THERE, HOLD ON TO YOUR SEATS http://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2014&wk=3
  12. The thing is, on the Chandler pick, he didn't engage, he ran into the guy, put his hands up (as you do when you're about to run into someone), then turned to the QB, like he was running to a spot to be a secondary/tertiary option. It can be called an illegal pick, sure, but he was also clearly running to a spot, imo.
  13. I'm obviously doing the same
  14. Dammit EJ, why didn't you go protect Sammy's arm?
  15. 82 meters long. Fake nerd. (I have no clue, different sources say a couple different things... my source for this post is from http://firefly.wikia.com/wiki/Serenity )
  16. Wait, what?! Edit: Well ****, I'm an idiot... I had people on my ignore list already. I apparently had forgotten how to do it hah.
  17. I have always found it easier to fly west than to fly east, as far as time adjustment goes... but that's me.
  18. Wow... Just gonna not come back to this thread...
  19. Bigger version... http://dirkloechel.d...ships-398790051 / http://fc06.devianta...hel-d6lfgdf.jpg Serenity doesn't make it, I believe, because the ship is less than 100m long.
  20. He has a history. One of those posters I wish I could somehow put on ignore, honestly.
  21. Gonna just agree to disagree. There's no arguing with such an extreme stance.
  22. San Diego's defense, from what I can see, is fairly average, and also has problems stopping the run... much more so than what we've faced so far this year. I think we should be able to move the ball against them...
  23. So your assumption is that a WR is always open if the QB throws the ball "perfectly"? I don't even know where to start on how much I disagree with that. It's ridiculous to the point where I actually have no argument that I can make, heh. This isn't even about EJ, but simply about football in general. Even the most perfect pass won't be completed if the DB covers the WR. Instead, a "perfect" QB wouldn't throw the ball if he recognizes coverage. But sometimes DBs disguise their coverage with a bit of space, or hand off to another DB in waiting. The perfect pass gives the WR the best *chance* at catching the ball against the coverage. If a DB makes the correct play, or is in position, then you get an incompletion.
