Aug 24 - Cancelling NFL Ticket
Dorkington replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
More like, everything is increasingly getting close to the straw that broke the camel's back... it gets tougher and tougher every year. -
When does SJ's, Fitz's and Anderson's contract come off the books?

Marrone open to bringing in another viable QB.
Dorkington replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not so black and white. I'm sure Whaley consults with Marrone, asking him what he would like, asking him if he is interested here or there. And I'm sure Marrone goes to Whaley, and tells him "we need this", or "I need to get rid of this guy". Does Marrone have final say? Absolutely not. But I bet he very much has Whaley's ear. -

I'd be very into this idea, but it seems like it's just one fan's speculation at this point. -
Aug 24 - Cancelling NFL Ticket

I've had a couple days to cool off... I might still subscribe God, I'm weak. -
Wonderful roster management by our front office.

I wonder how much simply slowing down the offense would help... Are we still leaving a bunch of time on the playclock when we hike the ball? Haven't really paid attention to that this preseason.
-
That's what I'm seeing... If the offense did their job, and moved the ball past the Bucs 50, at the very least, it would have "only" been 7-0 going into halftime at worst, heh.

EJ, WRS, etc., and a suggestion or 2.....
Dorkington replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We lost our first round for next year... so I'm not sure our QB problems will be solved until 2016. It's either EJ or Tuel until then. -
Did EJ have time to get this to Fred?
Dorkington replied to fansince88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He could have done that, if he wasn't still looking to make a play. Pocket awareness comes with experience, I'd think. Not defending EJ's play yesterday, but I'm not horribly mad about that particular play. -
Alright, lets review a bit... because I'm curious to see if I'm just angry, or if my suspicions are correct.... 1st Quarter: TB Possession 1: TB gets the ball on their 43 yard line after an interception. Bills stuff a WR screen, a run play, and get a sack. Causing a three and out. Good series. -16 yards Net offense: -16 yards TB Possession 2: TB gets the ball on the Bills 46 yard line, after the Bills go three and out deep in their own territory. Bills get an interception. Good series. 2 yards. Net offense: -14 yards TB Possession 3: TB gets the ball on the Bills 39 yard line, after a fumble by CJ Spiller. Bills quickly get gashed by a long run, and a long pass. Touchdown. "Bad"? series. 39 yards. Net offense: 25 yards on 10 plays. (2.5 ypp) TB Possession 4: TB gets the ball on the TB 34 yard line, after a 16 yard "drive" by the Bills. Give up two first downs, then stop the Bucs to force a punt. Good series. 22 yards. Net offense: 47 yards on 16 plays. (2.9 ypp) 2nd Quarter: TB Possession 5: TB gets ball on TB 48 yard line, after the Bills force themselves into a corner with a 3rd and 40 from their 15. Give up a 3rd down pass for conversion. Give up a long QB run. Stop them with incompletion force, and two stalled running plays. They score a field goal. Good series. 27 yards. Net offense: 74 yards on 24 plays. (3.1 ypp) TB "Possession 5a": TB returns EJ fumble for a touchdown. 17-0. Defense not responsible, "obviously"-Marrone TB Possession 6: TB gets ball on TB 18 yard line, after Bills three and out. Penalty first down. Pass play first down. Pass play first down (after a penalty gives TB a second shot at a 3rd down conversion, we stopped their first attempt. No penalty, means they punt). Complete Pass, Pass, Pass - TD. Bad series. Two bad penalties, and bad pass coverage. 11 plays, 82 yards. Score is now 24-0. Net offense: 156 yards on 35 plays (4.5ypp) So what do I get out of this... 4 arguably good series. One that is hard to tell, because they got the ball on the 39 yard line. But still... And one that is a legitimately bad series. The two bad series happen after the defense has barely rested, due to the offense only running a couple plays. Does that play a factor? Who knows. Either way, it's obvious our defense will have to be the best in the league to stay in games, due to our inept offense.

Did EJ have time to get this to Fred?
Dorkington replied to fansince88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Had time, yes. But he saw the defender creeping up on Fred, imo, then panicked. -
14 seasons without playoffs. And there's a bunch of people at a preseason game for the team? And the loyalty is questioned because they are unhappy with how the team is playing? C'mon man. That's bull.

I think we are going to fully depend on getting pressure. Gilmore doesn't have the speed to make up for the new rules changes, and McKelvin has never been that good. Graham is a little slow, as well. And Robey is a small guy (who makes plays, thank god). Our Safety situation is a bit inconsistent as well. We *need* to get constant pressure on opposing QBs, its just that simple.

ding ding ding The kid doesn't understand what "bandwagon" means. No one jumps on the bandwagon of the world's most embarrassing team. Anyone rooting for the Bills right now is a true/die hard fan.

Bills Release Alan Branch After DWI Arrest
Dorkington replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was on his way out anyways, which kind of sucks, because I thought he did well for us last year. -

I feel bad for all the suckers who bought season tickets this year. Hopefully the Bills prove my sentiments wrong. :| -

Was going to pull the trigger when I got back from my upcoming trip. Now I'm not going to bother. The NFL and the Bills can !@#$ off until Buffalo decides to get serious about fielding a competitive football team.* (* as in, they won't be getting my money... I'll watch from a bar, or using pirated streams) -
Those two tweets have made me no longer a fan of his. What an immature little ****.

Stats prediction - EJ Manuel
Dorkington replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hey, I'm all for giving a guy some time, but if he does what he did today, you can't honestly expect him to stay on the field. No coach would allow it to happen. -
Good effort by Easley to get out.

Stats prediction - EJ Manuel
Dorkington replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After today's showing? I'm not sure he lasts 6 games until he's benched. Not all his fault, the OL sucked, and players slipped. But dear god he was horrible as well. -
Flags = bad coaching This team has bad coaches, bad offensive line, bad QB. Pretty easy to stick to my 4 to 6 win season.
