His writing is pretty thoughtful. In one breath he says that predicting QB success is more art than science while picking apart Watson and Mahomes footwork. He also says QBs don't change much upon becoming pro. I still remember people saying that Newton would never succeed as a pro.

I think Mahomes and Watson are quite polished. Kizer not so much. I could be content with Davis Webb as well.

I don't agree with the entire article and take great exception to Cam Newton being lumped in with Ryan Leaf. Those two don't belong in the same article. I agree that Watson is a superior prospect to Trubisky at this point and has of the charts intangibles. Looking at film I was surprised by how good of a runner Trubisky is and watching the Watson film I was pleasantly surprised by his passing technique and accuracy.

I see Kizer sliding to round 2. He telegraphs his throws. Our first offensive player should be a QB IMO. I see us going DL at 10 hopefully Jonathan Allen
