  1. I don't agree with the entire article and take great exception to Cam Newton being lumped in with Ryan Leaf. Those two don't belong in the same article. I agree that Watson is a superior prospect to Trubisky at this point and has of the charts intangibles. Looking at film I was surprised by how good of a runner Trubisky is and watching the Watson film I was pleasantly surprised by his passing technique and accuracy.
  2. I see Kizer sliding to round 2. He telegraphs his throws. Our first offensive player should be a QB IMO. I see us going DL at 10 hopefully Jonathan Allen
  3. I distinctly remember reading on the BBMB that Modrak did all his scouting in front of a computer. This partially explains the Decade of Fail.
  4. these media people are just hyping themselves by whatever means possible. Controversy sells
  5. we now have back up QB solidified. Maybe we'll draft a starter
  6. TJ, TT, ...are there any other QBs whose initials start with T who can complete the pattern?
  7. the fact that all the recent moves are California teams is telling. I read years ago that San Diego simply did not have taxpayer support for stadium funding with the city being very broke and dealing with much more important social problems. Ideally these facilities would be entirely privately funded. I love the game but it has no place at the public trough.
  8. we used to have Packer fans visiting the BBMB. They were always respectful and complimentary were quick to point out that the Pack have never won at the Ralph. Too bad we couldn't have their ownership model
  9. I could see the City seizing the stadium but not the team that is privately held. These owners finance the elections that employ the politicians who write the laws. In short, the 1% own democracy that is until Trump arrived - a paradigm buster.
  10. I also visited the BBMB daily. it was by far my favourite thing on the internet. The move is one more thing in a long line of the corporatization of the league and its teams and not a good one IMO. The underlying message is that fans are irrelevant and that if the teams don't have control what is said, they'd rather shut down the entire medium. We all have our individual and collective tipping points and the team and league and getting closer and closer to mine with each passing day.
  11. I'm not sold either. I think Jerry's paying him not to play elsewhere
  12. 1. Mike Williams - Titans 2. Corey Davis - Ravens 3. Malik Hooker - Colts 4. OJ Howard - Browns 5 Mitch Trubisky - Texans $10 Bonus - Who the Bills pick. - Jonathen Allen
  13. just the nail in the coffin ESPN needs
