  1. Don't start picking on Teachers of the Year. There are more of us than you think on this board. In fact, you tend to use "alot" instead of "a lot" in your posts. Did you graduate from Cortland?
  2. "PRUUUUUUUUUUUCE!!!" Lordy, I loved hearing that at the Rich...
  3. 10. Dave Krieg 38,147 11. Boomer Esiason 37,920 12. x-Drew Bledsoe, Buffalo 37,671 Looks like the Drewster will break into the Top 10 before you throw for 300, JP...
  4. How is it lack of talent? I'll buy the other three.
  5. A wonderful quote, aussiew. I might have to put that one in my classroom! I didn't feel depressed after the Jets game. I saw the future on 2 big plays, WM and Lee Evans, and felt good about it. It was cool seeing Losman hitting Evans on the helmet like he will time and again--perhaps in the near future. I have the enthusiasm your quote speaks about.
  6. 1. Repair your grill. It's been burned more than Jonas Jennings. 2. Get your costume ready. Make sure to cut the holes in the paper bag so that you can see the entire field (unlike Drew). 3. Remember to drop your blade height now that the cold weather's coming. You don't want to contend with snow mold next April when you could be watching Round 2 of the NFL Draft. 4. Check the chemicals in the hot tub. Invite the Swedish Hot Tub Team. Oh, and Travis Henry. 5. Insulate the crawl space over your living areas. It's going to be a cold cruel six months. Unless you're jayg in friggin' Hawaii. 6. Get a backup team. May I suggest a team on its way up a year or two ago--like the Bengals (1-3), the Titans (1-3), Chiefs (1-3), Carolina Panthers (1-3), or Tampa Bay (1-4). 7. Take up a hobby.
  7. Agree that we should use both TH and WM in the backfield. We need to groom our trade bait. Pretty soon an in-contention team will lose their starting running back, and will gladly trade a top-flight pick for one of them.
  8. Chalkie got it nearly right. (Chalkie's #'s still listed) AFC 1. Manning 2. Brady 6. McNair 3. Pennington 7. Rothlesberger 4. Green 8. Carr 5. Leftwich 9. Plummer 11. Brees 14. Collins 10. Garcia 12. Bledsoe 13. Boller 15. Palmer 16. Feeley NFC 1. McNabb 2. Culpepper 3. Hasselbeck 5. Favre 6. Vick 4. Bulger 7. Harrington 10. Warner 8. Brooks 9. Delhomme 11. Testaverde 12. Brunell 13. McCown 14. Rattay 15. Simms 16. Quinn
  9. Let's go people! Sign with your first name. Email address is not kept by them to avoid spamming and viruses.
  10. Travis Henry with 150 yards rushing, keeping the ball away from Pennington. The Jets are 22nd I think in rush defense, and nothing will take a Jets-Jets-Jets crowd out of a game better than a grind it out rush attack.
  11. PIA exhibits strong work! In poetry class, his talents don't shirk.
  12. We gotta win that matchup... I'm glad to see Tucker get the start at Center. I'd bet that he will have a solid day, and won't pull when he isn't supposed to (like Teague did last week with disastrous results). I'm also expecting McGee to come up big again. Go Bills! Beat the antiBills!
  13. I asked a cabdriver: "Where could I get some action?" He took me to my house!
  14. Quotes not working today? I have to agree with Moulds, and Mularkey, and Bledsoe on this. It's little things, but little things that are adding up. A trip here, a miscommunication there, an inch further out of bounds, a bad call here, an injury there, bad luck there. HOWEVER everyone has something to do with their own luck. We must continue to prepare so that when it meets opportunity, we generate better luck. We can play with anybody, and we'll break out.
  15. I have a number of students that will want to read this book, and some others who will need it read to them, but will love it. Reminds me of Profiles in Courage by John F. Kennedy. Go Gus!
  16. Opponents are averaging 126 ypg against the Pats on the ground. Henry is still looking for his first 100 yard game. Something's going to give, and I say it's the Pats D-line.
  17. Belly Chick's praise of the O-line was backpedaling from his book where he called the the Bills line horsebleep. Guess which quote goes on the O-line's bulletin board, and why you'll see the O-line at their finest today.
  18. Can't help but thinking that TE Mark Campbell is key today. If they double Moulds, Campbell can be the dumpoff man. Also would like to see Evans or Moulds cross the field on a shallow route, catch the freakin' ball, then head due North.
  19. Wait a minute... I'm 56... And I don't have a 23 year old... Daughter... Ewww!!!!
  20. "This is our house"--Love the ads... Time to make that house a home for Bills Only. Three Simple House Rules: 1. No doing the WaVe when we're on offense. 2. Honor your neighbors in your section. They have the right to enjoy the game. 3. No opponent TD's. Late Astro
  21. It's not an impossibility to make the playoffs if we go 0-3. In this free agent era, a 9-7 team could make the playoffs. We've seen upsets already that would make the 10-6 teams almost a lock to make the playoffs. I could see the Bills running off 9-4 record from her on in with a gelling, improving O-line and a maturing head coach, and the injuries which have run rampant this season.
  22. Drew goes out in the 2nd quarter Matthews comes in and throws for 2 TD's and a FG... Defense does its stuff Bills 17-10 Late Astro
  23. I didn't know we were leading the league in red zone defense. Hopefully, we will be after Sunday.
