The Chargers lost to the Colts and Seahawks in Preseason.
If the Broncos lose to the Chargers, I'm the Hurdy Gurdy Man.
Indy, Pgh, Denver, New England and The Jets (who have beaten the Chargers already) are all --still--better than the Chargers.
Chargers = Fraud
I agree with road grader Center. I'd like this guy to be a Free Agent, and not a can't miss Rookie. Let us take rookies this April who are the BPA at positions we DON'T need immediate help, such as an eventual replacement for Moulds, Fletcher, etc.
I'm sorry, but I have to add Sandy Eggo.
Seven AFC teams have fewer points against than the Chargers.
Two victories have been to the Raiders.
They've lost to the over-.500 teams (Colts, Seahawks, Jets, Broncos, Falcons).
I agree. The motivation will be there for the Fins in the first half, but the reality slowly sets in. Their team is (pardon the cliche) going South.
I don't think the Bills coaches are going to let the Bills look past the team that has had the upper hand of late, particularly in their house. Old Fin fans will have something to shout about for a series or three, but then the Front Seven on D will wreak havoc.
I'm extremely impressed with this thread b/c:
(1) It's about football.
(2) People are disagreeing without namecalling.
(3) People are being articulate, backing up their opinions with evidence.
The reasons I love TSW!

It was the cheeseburgers, pure and simple. They give you extra tailwind.
How about Price coming in and doing a decent job in Jennings' absence? I thought I saw Tucker in there too at times. Just hat on a hat. Mike Williams had a good game, and Teague his best one since his return.
Good post.
Can someone tell me why Bobby April was available for coaching our ST? He's far and away done the most with his group. Wow. My only uneasiness came when Clements was slow to get up. I hope we think long and hard about letting Fast Freddie do punt returns and kickoffs.
I think the Seahawks blew it on D. They are known as a high-risk, high-reward defense, who'll spot you a couple of big gains. They should have blitzed more, and with more creativity. The linebackers (all stand-ins for the real LB's they thought would be starting the season) played pretty well, IMHO.
McGee led the team in tackles with 7 (and one assist and one INT)
Rashad Baker had 3 tackles and 2 assists
Kevin Thomas 2 and 1.
The play of these three is really coming together. I hope Clements is OK (and that we will pull him from ST), but McGee's play is encouraging.

I think, in time, Kelsay, McGee and Baker will also be seen as great picks on the D side. I AM having trouble seeing the magic of Mr. Burns... but plaudits to TD for his drafts and trades (TKO! TKO!) which are bearing fruit on this 5-2 run.
Defensive Front 7 is doing a fine job on Alexander, the makeshift (again) O-Line doing pretty well, and Evans is getting the game ball so far. When the Boo Hawks are out, it's like a home game. DB thinks they're shouting "Drew!"
I hope we end up with a good matchup, not a Pittsburgh-G-bay or Pittsburgh-Seattle yawnathon.
My hopes would be that the more exciting team wins each playoff game. Hence:
Wildcard round: Colts whallop Denver (Manning MVP), SandyEggo beats Pats in OT
AFC Championship: Colts
Wilcard round: Mini Soda wins (who cares over whom), Vicktlanta beats Phil in OT
NFC Champtionship: Vicklanta over Mini in OT naked bootleg by Vick
Super Bowl: (going out on a limb) Colts over Atlanta 48-41
I'm going to hook it up the way it was and ASSume that the electrical contractor who installed it knew what he/she was doing (what am I kidding, HE).
If I stop posting, check with the fire department...

I've run into an anomaly while installing my dimmer switch. The two black wires are twisted together and attached to one terminal of the old dimmer. There is one RED wire attached to the other terminal. White wires are knotted together inside the box.
Before I go and hook my new one up the same way (the other one worked for 17+ years then stopped dimming, although the lights still turn on and off)...
I always thought that dimmer switches should have one black attached to each terminal. If so, what's the red wire?

Are you sure this isn't confused with the Dolphins activation of Renauld Williams?
(from the Dolphins website, which doesn't mention Ricky Bongwater:
November 23, 2004
The Miami Dolphins today activated linebacker Renauld Williams (pictured) from the practice squad and waived defensive end Melvin Williams.
That's the way I saw it too, Villarial double teaming the rusher to his left, missing the block on the guy coming in and sacking Drew. Travis was probably the #3 look on the play, and was moving out to the flat.
I am Astro, and I'm a bot.
Actually I'm abot 37 years in active addiction. I've seen the pits, and this ain't it.
