  1. Jennings would be a wasted franchise player selection. His Games Played since 2002: 15 11 6 See a trend?
  2. Also that McKinnie has had trouble with speed rushers. Culpepper makes plays due to his agility (think Losman) and his ability to play hurt. Hopefully the O-Line we are developing can be better than the O-Line for the Vikes.
  3. I typed in "Can I have a Rosen?" She gave me ...a beer!
  4. Add to this the loss of three Pats CB's plus possibly Vrabel, and definitely Deion Branch. Add to this Corey Dillon's not 100%. Head to head, over the last 5 games each, the Bills lead in points, 3rd down conversion percentage, 4th down conversion percentage, rushing yardage, passing TD's, sacks allowed, net punt yardage, and fewest number of penalties. The Bills' D: Rushing Defense -- 95.9 ypg (4th); Passing Defense -- 172.3 ypg (3rd); Total Defense -- 268.1 ypg (3rd). The Pat's D (WITH CB's): Rushing Defense -- 119.0 ypg (21st); Passing Defense -- 220.1 ypg (19th); Total Defense -- 339.1 ypg (19th). McGahee is only the third player since 1970 to have 100 yards rushing in each of his first three starts. Since Milloy's return, the Bills have improved from 14th to third in passing yards allowed and from 29th to 13th in third-down percentage defense.
  5. I saw the article, too. Also one that said that Warner was having trouble learning how to keep two-point pressure on the ball until he was ready to pass. Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks. It's harder, but do-able. Still liked Drew's "scramble" last week for the 1st down. Or was I dreaming? It looked a lot like Losman (Twilight Zone music here)
  6. I agree with Helmet. I'd think Saints, Chargers, Vikings in that order. Jacobs and Golisano (unless he becomes Governor) would step forward in the event that the Bills goes up for sale. Ralph could also sell it to the city of Buffalo for a buck, and put TSW in charge of all hirings and firings. BTW, Orchard Park is going down today.
  7. You might want to brush up on your grammar, too. two is the number. too means also or too many. to is the preposition, as in "to the book-burning".
  8. The Pats have only 5 WR's active: Givens-Johnson Patten-Brown-Kasper Givens has started 6 of the 8 games so far, netting 644 yards (17.4 avg) Bethel Johnson has 6 catches, 92 yards Patten has started 7 of the 8 games so far, netting 430 yards (16.5 avg) Troy Brown has fallen off, 4 games 0 starts, 95 yards, (10.6 avg) Kasper has no catches for no yards
  9. Actually, this sounds like Jerry Gray, not the usual Chicago-based editors.
  10. People! The Bills play the Pats next week! That's why you saw the Bills this week! To give you the idea that the Bills are for real and will have a chance in Foxboro! It's all STAGED! Like WWF...
  11. LOL! I went to college with PICKSburghians. Guy asked me for a gum band. He was trying to red up his room. You know, arning his shirts, throwing the Arn City kegs out on the berm of the road, etc.
  12. If you watch the replay, watch for the little black BB's coming up as Evans drags his back foot. It's there. Move on, WGR...
  13. Any more word on whether he's returning as CB or Safety? I vote CB! McGee was deked for 155 yards out of the 207 yards racked up by Pennington and Carter.
  14. Not since Miami 3 weeks ago. LONGEST DRIVE BY BILLS: Last week vs. AZ: 7 plays, 19 yards in 3:16. 2 weeks ago BAL: 8 plays, 70 yards in 4:03. 3 weeks ago MIA: 14 plays, 72 yards in 7:00. 4 weeks ago NYJ: 8 plays, 69 yards in 3:24. 5 weeks ago NE: 7 plays, 66 yards in 3:52. 7 weeks ago OAK: 10 plays, 78 yards in 4:36. 8 weeks ago JAX 2 plays, 18 yards in 0:46. We've only had one drive longer than 7 minutes. Astro
  15. Even though I think McGee is the real deal at KR and may eventually be at CB, he was responsible for over 150 yards receiving yardage today. McGee was deked for 27 to Moss and 21 to McCareins in the 1st Qtr (the Jets' 1st 2 plays), a 33 and 23 yarder on successive plays in the 2nd Qtr., then was torched for the 51 yard TD to Moss in the 4th Qtr.---Total, 155 yards out of the 207 yards racked up by Pennington and Carter. Troy, can you do better right now? We need you man!
  16. As a Lysdexic, I may get this wrong, but: McNally=Dog
  17. Amen to that brother! Testify! Those guys plus WM would make 2000 yards an annual event.
  18. I'm hoping we see more of Aiken, anyway. The combo of Moulds, Aiken and Evans can cause more defensive coordinator headaches. Aiken is taller, heavier, and younger than shaw. He just needs the PT to match Shaw's numbers.
  19. CNN. I have my little stickers from USA Today and everything ready. It'll be background for TSW, tho'...
  20. Voted, but I don't really Kerry who wins.
  21. Well, if the women thought they had a better option, they would certainly go to it.
  22. Carolina, last year's Super Bowl NFC team, loses to Seattle. The AFC winner, New England, losing big today to Pgh. Denver, perennial playoff team for the AFC, loses to Michael Vicklanta. Indy and the Ravens? Nope. Oakland's out, San Diego in??? Could this be the dawn of a new era, or a weird Halloween blip?
