    Keon WTF?

The guy chose the number 0, that's about the impact he has each week. Insanely poetic.
  2. Hes got a lot to work on, but at the very least he's a legit force against the run and seems unblockable at times. If they can unlock more the guy will be an all-pro. Should have had 5.
  3. He went from surrounding Josh with offensive weapons to surrounding him with anchors. Samuels/Moore, stink. Coleman, stats don't lie. Kincaid, nice piece, not enough production. Down to Shakir and Cook (who is a 2 down back lol). Now contrast that with all the resources spent on the D, and how bad it still is. More draft capital spent there than on O, and it's not a productive unit.
  4. Its time for a change. Not a well built roster, Beane deserves more of the blame here, but we've seen enough of McD and I'm not sure he's going to get us over the hump. They haven't been a sharp team for most of the season. Too many penalties, folks not on the same page, all falls on coaching.
  5. Roll your best WRs out there, your best running back, and play ball. This isn't youth football where everyone takes a turn.
  6. They mentioned it on the broadcast a few times, but this is an issue going back to Ken Dorsey, and it's probably gotten worse since because we run way more. At least with Daboll you knew they were going to be in the gun a vast majority of the time. Wish we had numbers on this stuff. It's amazing that we consistently ranked top 5 in playaction passes when Daboll was here and the run game was mediocre to bad. We are a top 5 run team now and last year ranked near the bottom in playaction passes. This is not complimentary football.
  7. Kincaid was on fire all night and only got 6 targets, played only 60% of the snaps. I'm honestly tired of the rotating wheel at WR, pick your 3 best and roll them out. I don't need Shavers getting snaps when he's just run blocking. Ride your best players, felt that they made too big of a deal with Cook getting too much of the workload and he barely touched the ball early in last night's game. Ride your best players.
  8. They also spied him. In a weird way they invited him to roll out left. Because 2 loops inside, has an open gap to shoot up the middle but just spies. Edit: I don't think Allen was off all night, he was locked in that first half, was fine coming out after half, but the 4th could have been better. Maybe he left some opportunities on teh field but you could say that a lot about this season pass wise.
  9. For an offense that runs the ball well, we sure as hell cant take advantage of it enough. Been an issue since Dorsey. They run undercenter, pass in the gun, would be nice if they could meld the two together. I never want to see a TE jet sweep again.
  10. I feel like we started off well enough passing, even if it was short, but then we got into some 2nd/3rd and longs after the Phins slowed down Cook, and some of the issues started to creep up. To be fair, there were a couple of drops that killed drives too. It would be nice if we got to see a better intermediate pass game, also more playaction. Cook had 70 yards really quick in that first half but we didnt see enough playaction to complement his runs. Whatever, things to work on.
  11. If he wants to run Josh, do it in the redzone, not on some 2nd and long. Our run game is good, mostly because the OL is better, and Kromer is one of the best, if not the best, OL coach in the league. Also, for a team that runs as well as we do, we do not playaction enough, near the bottom of the league. When Daboll was here our run game wasn't great, but we playactioned more than most team, top 5 consistently. When we do play fake it doesnt seem convincing too, not like Daboll who was moving guards around on PA to really open things up and confuse defenses. I miss that stuff.
  12. The pass game today was not good. Josh was rushing things and felt uncomfortable in the pocket, guys dropping passes, OL got pushed around. Look, this pass O did well in that 4th quarter against the Ravens, but it hasn't been consistently good through 8 quarters so far. Still early in the year. I don't like how easily teams clamp/slow us down when they play man coverage against us. That shouldn't be a good game plan against us with Allen at Qb, and yet it is. We face more man coverage last year than any other team in the league, make of that what you will.
  13. Kinkaid's got to do a better job separating, Josh missed him on a TD, blame the OL for that one, but Knox has been getting open with more space, too bad he drops them.
  14. I mean if he's gliding around on scooter, then I'm worried he's been told to not put any weight on it. Doesn't bode well for someone who's being pushed around by 330 lbs guards, sometimes two a time. Not good, but lets hope for the best.
  15. Im pretty sure Josh said the same thing on Hard Knocks, lol.
  16. This front office would get really luck if Hancock is a legit starter for them.
  17. ***** YEAH!
  18. Glad they got under his skin to be honest. LOL These are valid concerns, they haven't drafted enough WRs, but they haven't drafted well on DL either, so we are doing catch up because of past mistakes, which falls on Beane. Anyway, I like hearing discussion like this, even if he's super defensive about it.
  19. Greg Cosell loved this kid. One scout told him he thinks he's a better corner than Hunter. Lets see what happens, you never know with corners. We've whiffed big time early in draft to find guys later in the draft that were as good as anyone taken in the early rounds, just never know with CBs.
  20. I saw Horton play against Colorado the previous year, that kid ran the same route for the vast majority of the game, shallow cross (something this team does a lot of with their mesh wheel concepts), and he absolutely roasted them all game long, had some deeper stuff too. He really stood out that game, like they couldn't do anything to really slow him down, they knew the ball was going to him but he still got open. Was fun to watch.
  21. He just has a tough time releasing at the line, that's one of his biggest issues. In some ways, he may be better in the slot, that way you can move him around, help him get cleaner releases, two way goes, use him like Colston.
  22. The drafting has been bad in the first two rounds with the exception of Cook/Rousseau. Not sure why he thinks Bishop is a linebacker, it really doesn't matter, he barely played for a variety of reasons, we'll know more soon.
  23. Honestly, I see no way that we resign him unless its below market value, and I mean really below. They'll draft someone, this is actually a really good running back draft. If you're not going to resign him, shop him now, lock in the pick, and pick a guy up.
  24. Lot of truth here, not to take anything away from Fangio, but it's sometimes more Jimmy and Joes than X's and O's. DL just wrecked things, and when you can get pressure generated at a 50%+ rate while only rushing 4 and dropping 7 good things happen. Lets look at the below. Baun on Worthy, is that a good scheme, no it's probably an easy touchdown, but Mahomes has no time to throw/rushes to get out of pocket. It's also soft coverage, no press man like OP described. Not saying they didnt press at times, but it was much more nuanced.
