  1. I don't remember thinking it was a reach at the time. They needed an edge rusher (and an OT) and some of the mocks had us taking an edge rusher. Did Mayock, Kiper et al. trash the pick at the time?? Dohhhh!!! You sucked me in.... Move on...
  2. If you live in this org's past decisions, it'll drive you nuts. Let it go. Build FROM here on.
  3. I would move back in a heartbeat if there were a reason to.
  4. Just passing it along, but Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan on Sirius were talking about Bulger and both said that he's better than what's in Bflo, Cleveland and Oakland and they'd all be lucky to get him. Don't know what I think of him. In some ways, playing in St. Louis is more obscure than Bflo.
  5. I'd rather have 303 lbs of "want to" in Kyle Williams than 355 lbs of "used to" in T. Sands.
  6. The new management said early on their not going to chase one year wonders. They're going to get guys who have been successful in college and successful in high school. To me, this rules out Davis and Campbell and puts our fucus on guys like Bulaga and T. Williams. I'm wondering aloud if this means we're more interested in McCoy and Tebow than even Bradford. What would be the feeling if we went Bulaga/Tebow? I have no strong conviction about Tebow either way, but I'm sure his selection would make the great Russ Brandon happy.
  7. He didn't beat anyone. Everyone threw on the Vikes, the Giants were horrible and the Saints dn play anyone. Matt Moore is OPG (other people's garbage) and he stinks just as much as our own.
  8. If they have Bradford as a franchise QB, not just a 1st rounder, I'd be okay with it.
  9. What do you want with a tight end who cannot block??....in Bflo of all places. If we had a rock solid line, maybe, but I think the TE in Bflo has to be a willing blocker and Olsen just is not strong enough or willing to play that role.
  10. He'd have to be a lot more consistent to warrant #9. But I must say, he shows an awfully nice inside spin move to complement a powerful edge rush. Looks like he may be a player, but that's in the highlights. I want to know what he was doing on the plays that did not make youtube. Crap on Maybin next year. We know nothing about him yet.
  11. If Aikman is available to us. I just don't want us drafting a Brady Quinn, JP Losman/ other 1st round loser when the boat has full on leaks everywhere.
  12. Quinn makes TE look like Darryl Lamonica. Talk about checkdowns.
  13. Back to my film room.... Seriously, I saw that whole Zac Robinson workout and whomever wrote this article on him must be related.
  14. Done.
  15. Thought it was at one of his pressers.
  16. I can't judge the other QBs as I didn't see them throw. Everyone would like to see them throw. I'm just saying that Pike couldn't throw a 20 yard out in Indy, so I doubt he could in Bflo. Read what Nix says. He wants a strong armed guy. Pike ain't that. Pike is a west coast offense QB in the NFL, if at all. LeFevour, we'll see. The Fordham kid looked good for a later round guy.
  17. When I think of DA, I remember the guys on Sirius saying that a team that needed a QB would be much better off giving up a 1st and a 3rd for DA than drafting a rookie. Now, that was after his big season, but he has done it in the league before. Bear in mind that, after his big season, major changes were made in Cleveland including a new system and the fire sale (or suspension) of most of their offensive weapons (Winslow, Stallworth, Edwards, Jurevicious). He may be better than you think. Anyone but Tony Pike!!
  18. Lee Evans is the greatest WR of all time!!!! (I just figured I'd go to the other extreme). And with that, I leave this ridiculous thread.
  19. Tony Pike is NOT a Buffalo QB. Gailey and Nix talk about a guy who can throw in weather. Pike couldn't even throw in the Dome. I thought he looked awful. Not inconsistent. Awful.
  20. Well, Bledsoe's time as an NFL QB ended while in Buffalo, even though he played a couple more years. But the guy was undoubtedly a franchise QB for 10 years and did throw for 45,000 yards in the NFL. I know it's easy to flame on unknown guys, but I'm curious about this guy after watching him move and watching him throw. I'm no QB coach, but he looked solid, whereas Tony Pike did not. Others were just okay, but I think Skelton will have people at least looking closer at his film after this weekend. I really wish LeFevour would have thrown.
  21. I know everyone didn't throw at the combine, but I thought this Skelton kid looked the best throwing the ball. He's 6'5" and the ball jumps off his hand....quickly. Being the size he is and the way he throws it, he reminded me of Bledsoe. Check out the Youtube on him (hope the link works). Looked like he moved around pretty well too. Is he the second coming? No. Did he play against anyone? No. I'm just saying he looked good at the combine. Tony Pike....not so much.
  22. Any OT with a 2nd round grade will be taken in the 1st round. The position is that important.
  23. The second dumbest thing I've read about WRs.
  24. I'll have to get to my "film room". The only person (there's not even "people") to question Evans' route running is on this board. He's a solid NFL WR. #1, #2, whatever. The rest is BS.
