  1. I go to watch football. Not to eat or listen to "Shout". The Ralph is fine w/ me as long as there's improvement on the green part.
  2. It's starting to feel like the safest picks in the draft are McClain and Bulaga. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Hampton or another FA here at NT. Stroud-Hampton-Williams wouldn't be the worst thing in the world....if #99 decided he felt like playing this year. Back that up with Maybin, McClain, Poz & Mitchell and the front 7 is at least credible.
  3. I have more memories of good 3-4s than 4-3s....
  4. Morgan was abused by Bulaga in the Bowl game. He was very ordinary. He looked like Ryan Denney.
  5. With all due respect...it's one of the dumbest ideas I've seen on this board. All you do in trading Lee Evans is create a hole. Good player. Great attitude and work ethic. Let's trade him. We MAY not have the QB, but let's not give him a chance by removing everyone who knows how to run a route and catch the ball. You see what happpen when we traded Peters....like him or hate him...he was good. And we did not have a good back up. Keep "good" unless you have another....
  6. Does anyone really think Maybin is a bust because he sat and watched this year? Pulling the the plug on TE is borderline early, but mayeb understandable. Dismissing Maybin at this point is insane.
  7. He's consistently $20 short on his payment...
  8. Owens and Incognito are the only guys who could get jobs with teams other than the Bills. The rest....move on.
  9. Understood. My point being: We do not need a new stadium to raise ticket prices. And if the arguement is for better luxury boxes, it gets the other owners nothing. So just raise our ticket prices and leave us be. That city, state and team is not going to build a new stadium. Period.
  10. I thought gate revenues are split and luxury box revenue goes directly to each owner. Since we're full, how does a new stadium help owners... unless they raise prices significantly.
  11. Doesn't matter. If they build it, I will go. If they don't, I will go. Attendance is not a problem in Bflo, so, what does a new stadium give us, better chicken sandwiches?? Niagara Falls?? God no. How about in Bflo, waterfront down near the old train station. I love they way Pittsburgh's stadium fram the city skyline.
  12. Good WRs touch the ball 8 times a game. Bad QBs still touch the ball 50 times. Bad OTs will get the QB killed. And if you have a bad defense, what's the point? All good teams go from inside out. I hope they draft not one WR this year. Not Benn. Not Thomas. Shipley...NOT ONE.
  13. Although smaller, he gives twice the effort than #99. If he can get to 280, I think he'd be fine in a 3-4.
  14. The flip side is that 33 QB's were drafted in round 1 from 1999-2008 with huge financial commitments and only 15 are NFL starters...and I'm not even adding in the 1st rounders that were TRADED by some stupid franchises for QBs.
  15. Checked stats. About 20 starting QBs drafted in 1st or 2nd round with 9 QBs drafted in the top 10 (10 if you call J Russell a starter)
  16. I must say the LeFevour arguments and his supporting stats are sinking in on me...I really want to see what he does at the combine as that will drive his draft position.
  17. If I am not mistaken, when you claim someone off waivers, you assume his contract, which might have been tough for some teams to absorb in early September, after all of their tough decisions have been made. I think this is a great thread. Our debates will not determine this kid's path, but the pre-draft scouting report does give some reason for optimism. Hey we have less info on Brohm than TE and the door is not completely closed on TE. How can it be closed on Brohm??
  18. I guess I'll just say I disagree. Fitz hasn't put up good numbers since the Wunderlic and I think if you take each QB at his highest potential, he's by far the worst.
  19. As Adam Schein would say, "If Ryan Fitzpatrick is the answer, I'd sure like to know the question".
  20. I'm not in favor of getting Vick, but I actually took something positive out of that article. The fact that he can now reflect on his performance, deem it lacking and HOW it was lacking shows maturity that I didn't think Mike Vick would ever have.
  21. My point was Fitz has more BAD starts in his 23 than TE in his 30. I mean..he was awful in Cincy...You may be right on the end evaluation. This year will tell on TE.
  22. I'll give him the 98 yard pass and he was smart enough to run for his life, but I also saw him throw more or less directly into the ground, wide left, wide R (I can't say it). If he's our choice, I would honestly rather try Brohm or the hot new rookie. Fitz just doesn't have the tools. I hear what you're saying, but 55% completion rate?? I think that's his top end.
