  1. I mean no offense, but YOU don't think Tebow makes it, or the media experts don't think he'll make it?? That is....if Mel Kiper had him as his #1 QB, would you feel different?
  2. Agreed. They need to build the team. You can't piss away the high picks to get him and then expect to fill out the team with street free agents. BUILD THE TEAM. NO SHORTCUTS.
  3. Was he THAT good at Alabama? I really didn't see them play much. I will say his lack of interest in the weight room shows a lack of commitment to his profession, so I am concerned there. But we do need a wide body. The semi-informed "experts" on Sirius do not like Cody until the 3rd/4th round and like Cam Thomas better.
  4. Andra Davis. Sure. Why not. If nothing else, he provides depth. But he's just a body. We need better, but he'll do.
  5. So... that's all we have to do is find a Drew Brees or Peyton Manning quality QB. Wow!! That guy is brilliant!!!
  6. Oh yeah, TO is the reason Fitz sucks. And Chad Johnson was the reason in Cincy. I can't believe this guy get ANY support.
  7. Start with positive. We are set at dback for the next 5 years. That should support a ben-don't-break defense that will keep them in games. Kyle Williams and Poz should be serviceable pros in any scheme. Other than that, the beer is cheap in WNY. We need at least 2 D lineman and 3 linebackers between now and Sept and hope that Stroud, Kelsay and Johnson can hold the fort till more talented/motivated players are brought in. 6 wins.
  8. Agreed. There just no other word. He'd complete a higher % if he was blindfolded.
  9. Bruce Campbell or Anthony Davis. I'd rather see them take a QB or build a defense than waste the pick on potential. Bulaga, Okung and the QB's gone, take McClain or Morgan. We're waaayy behind on our defensive front 7.
  10. What I've read is Watson has improved from non-existent to serviceable as a blocker. But he's not a complete, consistent TE. If he was, he wouldn't be in Clevelend. And $4M is a lot of iron for anything less than a complete, #1 TE. Yes, he can stretch the field, but so can Nelson. I'm just not buying Watson as a good investment for that kind of money. As impressive he always looked against us (bad defenses), he was invisible at times. And don't think the Bills are done with just one OT. They need depth at tackle. And they need depth inside in case Wood is slow to heal and in case we need an upgrade over Hangartner. I think there's a lot of work to do and a 2nd WR/TE should be FAAARRRRR down the list of priorities.
  11. Hold the fort for what?? They will make them competitive, not win.
  12. I see it differently. I think Stroud, Mitchell and maybe Kelsay are big problems. They're good enough to make you think they should be in the NFL, just good enough to be in the starting lineup, but not consistently productive enough to be the cornerstone of a winner. So in the front 7, it's only Poz that is proven. Maybe KW as rotational guy. Every one else is either sometimes or maybe. Oh, we'll use what we have, but I would draft 1 OT and all front 7 because we DESPERATELY need it.
  13. TO is a football player, a HOFer who hates losing. I want more of him
  14. You guys are wacky. He led the team in receiving. He's a huge body with decent speed still and he would have put up his usual 10-13 TD's if the rest of the offense wasn't so inept. Oh...and he was a good citizen and team mate all year. To say he dropped that many balls is just stupid. He was lucky that as many reached him that did and caught most (although he did drop a few). His drops were probably caused mostly by the fact he was surprised the ball was coming out and on target. TO is a football player. Get real people.
  15. Sorry. I was bored. I would still argue they hame SOME talent. If you'd seen Joe Dufek and Bruce Matheson, you so No talent.
  16. That is why there's NO WAY we draft a QB this year. All that bonus money heading into a lockout. Then sit your huge investment for a year w/out football. It makes no sense. Particularly with the abundance of talent we already have at the position.
  17. Now THAT's "out of the box"!!!
  18. What am I? Wood? I started a thread about Skelton after seeing him throw at the combine. I thought he looked great. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=108919
  19. It was reported on Sirius today that Cody only put up 225 lbs 22 times at his pro day. Both guys (Ryan and Kirwan) basically said Cody is crap with very little motivation and commitment. The 2 person consensus was that he should be a 4th rounder. I don't know much about the guy.
  20. I disagree. At least some of the time, Marcus Stroud was the gap.
