  1. And when these HOF QBs retire, it will go back to being about run the ball and stop the run. Cyclical.
  2. As much as you get blinded by the Spiller possibility, the man has a point. Maybe we need to stop chasing our tail.
  3. Chan Gailey....power running game??? I don't think so. He mixes it up well.
  4. I thought it was clever. And dude....killing me with the avatar. Kids looking over shoulder and I'm xing out. I'm new to the board and understand you were ill. Hope all is well.
  5. Tebow should at least be in the conversation
  6. Never heard of the guy and based on his pick logic, I never will.
  7. I disagree with everything you said. Well, kinda. Peters is an elite talent, but he's injury prone and inconsistent. So, when he plays and feel like playing he IS elite. But that's not always the case, is it. Oher is a RT like Jon Ogden was a guard. It's just what Baltimore does with lineman. He'll flop over and be a LT soon enough.
  8. Read it. What it didn't discuss is why Seattle would go for any QB when they have $10 million/year invested in Hassleback and Whitehurst. You can't invest $4m per year in Whitehurst then immediately pick a guy who will make more without getting anything for you $4m. Logic screams that Seattle is out of the QB business in April. What they need is a replacement for Walter J.
  9. There's no way Pete Carroll throws a number 1 at Jimmy Claussen after his move to pick up the great Charlie Whitehurst. How stupid would he look? Detroit - Okung (Must protect Stafford) Washington - T. Williams (zone blocker) KC - Bulaga (Safe oick) Seattle - Still has need (I think Spiller) Oakland - Will NOT take Campbell...and still has need. (I think Berry) Buffalo will probably not get coveted OT in 1st, is either taking Claussen at #9 or scrambling.
  10. I think both Williams and Bulaga will be gone by 9. Washington's Oline is worse than ours. Then you have Detroit, KC, Seattle and Oakland all with obvious oline needs. Just listening to Sirius, I haven't anything good about Velheer or Ducasse (other than size). I'm think it will look more like: 1. Claussen or trade down 2. Charlie Brown or Tim Tebow 3. Jason Fox or Cam Thomas.
  11. If you match the highest point of Keith Ellison's career against the lowest of Joey Porter, Ellison is still looking up. Way up. Get real.
  12. No way Redskins take Claussen. They started Mike Williams AND Levi Jones last year. That pick is Okung, Williams or Bulaga. I think Buffalo will have their chance at Claussen and will pass. I also think all 3 of the above are gone by 9 and Davis is slipping into the 2nd round. That leaves us with better defensive prospects. I'm thinking Morgan, Kindle, Williams or maybe even Spiller. Trade down to about 21 and take Claussen there.
  13. It's joke. You know....funny... haha. Don't be so serious.
  14. Now that's funny....
  15. Bulaga, Iupati and Crompton in the 2nd......riiiight...
  16. Sorry. Like a good QB, maybe a stellar playmaker makes everyone look better.
  17. If Spiller is the next ______________________, would you then be interested???? Emmitt? Thurman? OJ? Barry? What would it take?? Like a good QB,
  18. IF, and I say IF, you think McClain is on par with Willis, Urlacher and Ray Lewis, Andra Davis is a stopgap and an afterthought.
  19. Instead, what do you think of trading Kyle Williams to the Colts for extra draft picks?
  20. A better defense gives the offense more time on the field and better field possession. I will never criticize them picking front 7 even if they have a front 7....see Steelers.
  21. The next best option is on someone else's roster, so GO #5!
  22. 7 rolls of tape. I can't believe people still support this guy. I guess that's all I have to say about Marcus Stroud.
  23. Man, is THAT not saying much.
