I don't consider Walter, Kiper, Mayock and McShay football people. I'm talking about Nix and Gailey. If they say that they'd rather have the #1_____ and the #4 QB, then why the rancor towards #4 QB just because they went a different route?

It says he's a decent run blocker, but not great at pass blocking. Might this improve if our QB play and OC are better? I can honestly say I don't know muuch about Hangartner. I think he was better than Fowler. But was he a strength or a weakness??

Yeah...and that's why you keep him. Listen...our defensive backfield is the ONLY strength on this team and Whitner is part of that. He's versatile and he's talented. If you want to trade Whitner, it better be for something more important than another QB question mark. Some of you folks hate everything we have and love everything we don't. Just because they're here now doesn't mean they suck.

So you're saying having the combo of Jauron and Sheppard/Shonert/AVP is better than Joe Gibbs and his all-star cast of offensive coaches and the previously highly regarded Jim Zorn? Every coordinator the Skins have had was a qualified NFL coach with resumes to boot. We hired and hoped with unqualified disasters as offensive coaches. Edwards threw for less yards and TDs because he watched TV in the workout room, got hurt often and just didn't play. His %s are nearly the same as Campbell. Why is that?

He may be better, but the differences aren't crazy. He's never really lit it up and his completion % and YPC isn't that much higher. My question is this: Can Campbell be THEE guy? Can he take us deep into the playoffs? If he can't, play with the guys we have until the new guy is ready. I'm in NO hurry to get back to 8-8.

But Edwards was better in High School. What does that have to do with anything? I actually can respect the fact that you're consistent about Edwards. But you can't cut Campbell slack for the same conditions Edwards had to deal with in Bflo, then kill Edwards for the same things. I don't care on Edwards either way, but he is currently the Bills starter and will be unless they think JC or Bulger is a better option. I'm not sure if Campbell or Bulger are better....or just different.

Yeah...what do you think Claussen thought of the McNabb trade? It probably cost him somewhere between #4 and #22 money (unless we rescue him). OUCH!!!

What are you saying... Campbell can throw a 3 yard checkdown and lay on his back better than Edwards? Interesting how people can make excuses for Campbell's situation and dismiss Edwards when HIS situation (coaches, coordinators) was far worse. I mean....Doughboy was our OC last year!!!!! My god man!!!

The Bills will only sign Bulger after the draft if they do not get what they want in the draft. They will only trade for Campbell, again, if they do not get what they want in the draft. Of course...my opinions. But, why would they do anything before finding out where Claussen/Tebow et al go?

Maybe. People HAVE passed on good QBs before. But it makes me wonder when Shanny and Holmgren evaluate, then move on to Jake Delhomme and an aging all-pro behind the only line worse than ours.

I appreciate your link....but where is Jason Cole's link? If he was just another poster on this board, he's be killed. But the venerable Yahoo Sports has credibility? I'm not hacking on PTR, but there's so many "insiders", I just don't believe any of it. If it was a better deal for Phillly, they would have traded McNabb here regardless of what he wanted. I will tell you, having teams like Washington, Seattle and Cleveland effectively pass on Claussen concerns me. Maybe he's just not that good?

Let's see...both Edwards and Campbell are "dink and dunkers" and both played behind bad O-lines... I doubt it has anything to do with the O-line. They just suck.
