  1. But there are no other picks at 12 but QB's in this draft ... OMG !! A Bills fan that makes some sense or are you a Pats fan in disguise rock on Brother !!
  2. I say we take Rudolph & because the consensus is that he sucks as a QB make him change positions to a TE !!
  3. Someone should look back to see how accurate this so called "Football experts" predictions have been i remember when the Bills took Cordy Glenn he said he was not starting caliber LT that he was better suited for the RT position . Well There You Go !! Mel's wisdom at work ...
  4. We can only pray that his input will be kept to how to promote the new draft picks after Bean & McD make them & given the fact that Whaley was canned shortly after last years draft again i hope that the decisions as to who to choose those picks are limited to those with the expertise in that area !!
  5. The game we all learned to love over the last 3 decades is changing so much & the players are becoming the all about me players that if they wonder why TV ratings are going down look no farther than that not to mention the fact of selling our game to other countries it won't be long & Ill be out completely due to owner & player arrogance !!
  6. So am i but not with him even though i still don't like him as a QB we should be bitter with Ralph he was the one that made the decision to play him . RW did a lot of good things for this team but that wasn't one of them !! In a different situation it may have been alright but any dum ass knows you don't pull the guy that has played his heart out & was a huge reason why you got to the play offs that was a amateur move at best !! IMHO
  7. Man i don't like the Allen pick for some reason with Roquan Smith sitting there which is a better value at that high of a pick & i would think a more sure pick at a position of need also MLB is the QB of the D & he is a first round talent & the best at the position in this draft. I think it would be a mistake Allen is to much of a boom or bust prospect I hope they wait top ten is to much of a investment in him & there are to many question marks !! Go Bills !!
  8. Okay here is another draft scenario question (if it has been talked about this way i apologize) to the Bills fan base that i have heard put forth either on talk shows or blogs that i have read or heard articles on which may have some substance to their prognostications ! I have heard those that have much more of a connection to the NFL as a every day part of their lives being sports writers & such than i do just being a fan, given the case that the Browns with 2 draft picks in the first round this year that could want the same next yr . If the Bills were to give up their 2019 first round pick along with only 1 from this yr #12 that that might be a bit more enticing for the Browns than 2 picks from this yr's draft to actually trade out of the #4 spot & still have 2 first round picks this yr & next . So if the Bills were to put this yr's #12 pick with next yr's #1 (what ever that might be) along with a second &/or a third this yr to get up to #4 & keep the #22 pick in this yr's draft do you think that would be more enticing to the Browns to move out of #4 than the Bills giving up their 2 picks from this yr's draft ? I know the Browns will try to push getting all 3 #1's + but if Bean stays strong at this deal do you think the Browns would make the deal ? I'm not sure if that would work out in the draft compensation equation or not but it may be something to look into for Bean & company ! The Browns could also think that isn't enough for them to move out of that spot but possibly the lure of having 2 first rounders again next yr could sway them in that direction ? I hate giving away a lot of picks on what could be another maybe QB but if there is a scenario that i might be okay with i think this just might be it & it would be a way for the Bills to get 2 first rounders this yr which could very well make up for the loss of next yr's first . Sorry i was doing some looking after the fact it's already being talked about ...
  9. I've heard some shows that have talked about what the Browns should do is trade down from 4 this year & ask in trade for another teams #1 for next year so they again have 2 picks in the first round in 2019 which makes a ton of sense ! If the Bills are going to move up & get their guy I would rather they trade 12 this yr & next yr's #1 to the Browns if that would be more enticing to them plus maybe a 3rd this yr to get up higher & keep this yr's second pick at 22 !!
  10. To move any where inside the top 10 will take both of this years #1's & depending on how high the Bills want to go could take 3 this yr's + next & more depending on the trade partner but i don't think there is any one of the QB's in this yr's draft that are a bonafide/guaranteed, NFL superstar QB ! So what price do you pay on a maybe that would be the question ? I think i would rather go old school & take a prospect that has had a good college career with all the "NFL Prototypical" intangibles like a Rudolph, White or another QB that could fall to us at 12 ( or move up a couple to get the guy they want) or even later & let him sit a yr or 2 & then bring him in like a Rogers, Favre, Brady, Brees did & see what AJ & or Peterman can do given the chance . Don't pull a DItka !! That way there is less pressure right off the bat because given this (or any other fan base) if they choose a QB in the top 10 they will be expected to play right away & if he goofs up the fans will tear them to shreds which could ruin another Bills QB ... Instant gratification is a fan bases worse enemy !! Buyers remorse is even worse !! I wonder the success rate of QB's that sit a yr or so to those that have been thrown into the fire immediately ?? Could be something for another post !!
  11. DO pro bowl players equal Super Bowl wins ? I know a lot of players that go to the SB turn down the chance to go to the PB but i wonder how many pro bowlers are voted to the PB from SB teams ??
  12. Oh Yee of little faith !! Smoke screens around draft time are a myth
  13. Uh Hem can you say Tom Brady Round 6 - 199th over all , Roger Staubach round 10 129th over all, Bart Starr round 17 - 199th over all, Joe Thiesmann round 4 - 99th over all . Then you have the undrafted guys like Kurt Warner, & Tony Romo, Jeff Garcia , Remember Dave Kreig Oh & then there is Warren Moon !! But they all suck too !! So we don't know a thing about AJ other than he went to a team that had a starter that the club had put their horses behind & he wasn't going to see the field unless he got hurt which when Dalton did get hurt the small sample size of play suggests that he could be a very good starting QB in the league given a legit chance to start more than 2 games !!
  14. Exactly there wasn't a problem with that part of his game he was a great locker room guy but he just couldn't get it together on the field his decision making was slow & accuracy was a question . I only hope that it wasn't coaching like in some other instances with players that have left the Bills & he goes there & turns into a player we never saw while he was here !!
  15. I believe it Accuracy, anticipation, pocket presence, along with quick reading of the opponents defense is something i would much rather have than a guy that can launch a 80 yd pass to end the quarter or the game ... Pennington was one that had a decent arm but had all that i mentioned above & did a lot for the Jets up until he got hurt .
  16. So would any back up QB in the NFL ...
  17. Hey over here, i'm the one you been looking for just give me a chance & i'll prove all those nay sayers wrong & put this team back in the play offs GO BILLS !!!
  18. With all that is surrounding what Richie Incognito is doing do you as Bills fans think that they could make him a part of a package to trade up to do away with his contract & what ever else he is trying to do ? Or do you think that he would be more of a deal breaker if they did add him to a package deal to move up if that is in fact what the Bills are thinking of doing ? Would say the Giants be interested in him or the Browns at 4 ?? And if they would trade him would his entire contract thing go with him with no cap ramifications for the Bills ??
  19. Thats what they are saying because if he does stay on the retired list he has to return the $1.5 million signing bonus & i know i wouldn't want to do it ! Articles say that he may be hoping that they cut him so he can keep the $$ & still make the pay from the contract renegotiation he just did & if that is what he's doing then he is a bigger piece of **** than we or the Bills realize & needs to be gone ...
  20. I have been a Rosen fan all along but i don't believe he will be there & pray the powers that be don't blow all the draft capital to move up to number 2 to get another QB that isn't a proven QB like Allen . Unlike a lot of Bills fans i think AJ will be very good as the Bills QB allowing them to get a rookie & let him learn behind him & i (again unlike many Bills fans) see the possibility of AJ being our franchise guy I have always liked what i saw from him ever since he was in college. I think there "could be" other talent in this QB class that we could get that with time may be a better value with good upside like the guy from Ky. if there isn't another QB the Bills get earlier on in the draft ...
