  1. Thanks. Will do in the future. Now when I look it seems pretty obvious, but I really never noticed it before.
  2. Spoken Like a true KC fan. Hey you guys sucked for a long time so enjoy the success. We're a few years behind your rebuild. So I hope we win but the odds aren't great. Thanks for being respectful on our board.
  3. Wow, that's just a little more than Dez Bryant shelled out for one dinner! You'd be making millions now.
  4. It would be nice if you would live up to your alias and quit posting crap. We're a better board with Die Hard and I for one am glad he's back and will add you to my don't bother reading list.
  5. Jeezy Creezy get over yourself! You're just a guy like the rest of us. Let's see if Edwards can turn it around. It's not like we gave him a ton of talent to work with.
  6. Got me nervous for sure. He finally played a full game and played very well.
  7. I'd draft LB, DL & OT in that order unless Luck comes out.
  8. Rather have someone who knows what they're doing running a 3-4.
  9. Wade has far more expertise with the 3-4 than those two.
  10. You have to give credit to both. Fitz is a tough little guy with so-so accuracy but a big heart and guts. But he had all those attributes last year and never produced like this. Gailey is getting the most he can out of Fitz by letting the man play his game. Fitzy is smart and reads defenses really well. Chan lets him do that and lets him run the offense. That's great coaching. Fitz doesn't have the big arm but he's got a big brain and it's a great coach who allows him to use his strengths. So both guys get kudos.
  11. I'd take Wade back as a DC in a heartbeat. He'd make us a better team in short order. Don't see it happening but if it were possible, we'd be well served by that move.
  12. The Senator has it right. What's the point of making any declarations now? Fitzy could be Jake Delhomme or he could be Rich Gannon - a late bloomer. We don't know but we have ten more games to figure that out. Let's be patient and see what we got and if we can live with it. I see no point to saying we MUST draft a QB. It's not a litmus test for this franchaise. If Fitzy stalls or tops out below what we need, by all means pick a QB ---- but ONLY if the QB truly is a franchaise changer. Don't reach! This team has so many holes an elite talent at DL or LB or OT would suit me fine.
  13. I can't agree more! And under no circumstance take Troup out. The kid can play and needs the reps. He's going to get better and better. He's a load. I liked what I see in Moats and Coleman. Play the kids.
  14. I watched Fitzy in TC and was convinced he'd get cut. Trent was miles better in practice and far more accurate. Until you put them in a game....wow was I wrong. Fitz is a gamer. He's flawed but smart and plays without fear. You gotta love the guy and I'm going to shut my pie hole and see how the rest of the season plays out before clamoring for a 1st round QB.
  15. I'd take Wade as a DC on a heartbeat,
  16. You can't just wipe everybody out on a year. Changeover is multi year process. For next year keep: Edwards, K. Williams, Troup, Carrington, Coleman, Moats, Batten, Poz, Byrd, McKelvin, McGee, Florence, Corner, Wilson, and fill in the blanks with FA's and draft picks. The following year lose the weakest left standing.
  17. I'd take Fitzy, a 3rd and 5th rounder, a long snapper and an Eskimo Pie....WTF kinda thread is this? Why waste time on absurdities?
  18. I think Troup acquitted himself very well. He showed a good push and is learning the pro game. I think he's got the tools to be a rock in the middle for us. I keep saying it. Play the kids. Get Carrington dressed and play him. We gotta find out what we got.
  19. I'm pleasently surprised. During TC I thought Nelson would be the #2. Stevie didn't look disciplined or fast enough. I love being wrong on this!
  20. I responded to that thread with something to the effect of let the kid play before we pronounce him dead. I'm still in that frame of mind. He did very well as a rook starting for the first time in the NFL against elite talent. But it's one game. The one thing I keep preaching is play the kids now. They have upside, Cornell Green doesn't! So far so good. Let's see if the kid develops. The one big positive is that after playing our young guys this year, we should know what we have and what we need going into the drat. Kudos to you for manning up with this post.
  21. Whatever. The kid played well and he has upside. That's what this season is now about, finding out what we have. Let's let the kid play a few games before declaring him crap. You know, even in a brutal season, you have to give credit when it's due every now and again. Relax, you can give the kid credit and still bash away next week.
  22. Wow, Gumby's got two posts and already a rule of thumb. Nonetheless there is some truth to it. Good QB's make a line better but you still have to say our tackles kept some pretty fierce DE's and LB's off of Fitz. They line is much bett4er w/o Green. I've been saying all along, don't lose with veterans and folks who are not part of the plan. Play the kids and so far, they are developing.
