  1. Umm, to quote the man, "no, not really."
  2. Chan and Buddy, you need to watch this. Dammit, let's get this team going and win baby!
  3. Link is not working for me.
  4. Dareus. Just keep remembering the B'slapping the Jets and others gave our run defense last year.
  5. Tough one. I voted Vick because with Pig Ben, there was some modicum of consent. The dogs had no choice - fight or die, be electrocuted, beatened and burned. The guy was a heartless pr*ck. That said, Pig Ben disgusted me as well. It's like being asked if you were neck deep in a barrel of shite and someone threw a pail of p*ss at your face would you duck?
  6. Clabo I'm with you, but I would not break the bank on Soliai. He had a decent year (his first decent year of four years in the league) but was hardly dominant. The Fish's D gave up boatloads of yards on the ground. If the price were right, okay. But I would not sink mega dollars into this guy.
  7. Clabo would be a tremendous signing for us. Great size and mean to boot. Great in the run game and can pass protect. He'll be 30 this season and has some miles left. Bell - Levitre - Wood - Urbik(et-al)- Clabo would be a very nice way to start the year.
  8. I say sign him so I can remember what exactly TE's do. It's been awhile since I've seen one actually used by the Bills
  9. Saw the pin but thought it was just for comments and not new material. I will defer to an opinion strongly held...and the mods can make the call.
  10. Did a search and didn't see this posted. More Cam and more talk of him coming to the Bills. A good read. link
  11. Frankly, just size and brains. I think all we need to know is if they are football players and that we can only get from watching the games. The combine just tells us they are healthy and how many brain cells are working.
  12. Trade our #3 for Tim freakin' Tebow???? Really? Has this board gone crackerdogs? Let's all take a deep breath and back away from the keyboard. Tebow's going to have a Jim McMahon type of career. People will like him and root for him but he's just not that talented. If all the stars align, he may have a chance at the big game, but not because of what he brings to the table. Keep our pick and let's continue our discussion on Cam VS. Defense at #3.
  13. Now there you go with facts. It ruins a perfecdtly good tantrum on the part of some on this thread who think somehow we would be a better team with Jonathan Scott and Ritchie Incognito on board. I'd rather play guys who needed to play or to see what they got when your team is on the rebuild. Both of those guys were not in any long term picture for us. As it stands now, let's just get a freakin' RT in the draft of FA and I think we're going to be fine.
  14. Think this is in a previous thread.
  15. Watching tape of Bowers, Fairley and Dareus, I was least impressed by Bowers. Dareus is so quick and athletic for a big man and has power for a bull rush. He sheds blockers better than FaIrley. Fairley has power and a nasty streak I liked. Nothing really popped out at me watching Bowers - though stats dictate he's got something going on.
  16. The mods are going to bust you with that major of a cut and paste. Copyright issues bro.
  17. Miller is just lame. A once clever and funny comic now reduced to playing the Sammy Davis Jr. role in the right-wing Rat Pack.
  18. Miller and Boss don't look promising? Maybe it's been so long since you've seen a TE you just forgot what they look like and what they do.
  19. I think the good Doctor has got it right.
  20. I don't want in any round! He's maxed out his frame already and he's too damn small. We have enough small LB's.
  21. Mango is dead on. Besides, Chan already said the teams S&C coaches were focusing on squats, etc for the lower body strength. TT wouldn't be doing any training program if it were not okay'd by the team. Core is fundemental strength training. You can pile on weight or even muscle on top, but if your core isn't strong, you're not. A guy that big doing the wheel is impressive. I invite you all to try it sometime. It's a killer and back in the day I could crank a few out.....not so much now. The kid is on the right track.
  22. +1. Sorry naysayers, but this is how a team gets better. Moving on from Stroud for all the reasons Stony points out, and using that money on draft picks or FA's. Listening to the FO comments about the move, they are looking at DE's in the draft and after coaching them in the Senior Bowl, must have their eye on a few. So bravo Chan and Buddy. This is how teams improve. When Belecheat does this, it's a brilliant move. When we do it, all the p*ssing and moaning starts.
  23. He needs more strength but he does not get pushed back. In his rook year BJ Ragi looked like TT in his first year and he's looking pretty damn good now. Let's see what the new season brings.
  24. That wasn't a diss of the Packers. It was a response to some posters who equated small market teams as freeloaders that don't generate the same revenue as larger market teams. The argument is that some owners would like to only large markets have teams. My point was two of the smaller market teams just played for the Superbowl.
  25. Hey GBF, welcome. Pulled hard for your Packers for the SB. Small market, cold weather teams gotta stick together. Happy to see the Farve monkey off Rodgers' back. I'm interested in the maturation of BJ Raji. He seemed not much of a factor last year but really started having some impact this season. We have a rook NT in Torrell Troup and we're hoping he picks it up next year. What made the diff with BJ? Strength training in the off season or just playing?
