  1. Sort of sums it up for a lot of us. At the end of the day we got to trust that if Chan and Buddy think CN is the deal we'll take him. If not, we'll get a great player to help our D.
  2. Point taken! I will take one for the team and stay the eff home!
  3. You can't teach accuracy or decision making. Trent failed with only one of the deficits mentioned. He was accurate but couldn't take the speed of the game decision wise. Locker is a nice project for someone in the late rounds.....hopefully it won't be us.
  4. I went to two draft parties at RWS. The first we picked Eric Flowers. It took me a long time to get over that, but I did. and attended the last one where we picked Maybin. Combine those two experiences and you find yourself in the fetal position for days at a time.
  5. How do you think both would do playing behind our line and with our defense on the field for 70% of the game?
  6. I don't think he's worth top five money. So let the Fish lose all that cap room. He had one decent year out of four. He wasn't dominant and the Fish gave up a lot of yards rushing with him in the middle. So I'm not losing any sleep over it.
  7. If they like Cam enough, you're right, he's gone at three. I find it telling that Chan wants to see his football smarts...in particular reading pro defenses and not the one-check down system Cam played at Auburn. I feel Cam is not going to be able to read a pro defense anytime soon and the "hike and the ball is out" or as Chan said "read the end on an option" skills he now has will not cut it in the NFL. I guess Chan will know it when he sees it. So I'm not sold that if they don't pick a QB at #3, they wouldn't take on in the second or third round. Chan may see something he likes in one of the other guys.
  8. Umm, to quote the man, "no, not really."
  9. Chan and Buddy, you need to watch this. Dammit, let's get this team going and win baby!
  10. Link is not working for me.
  11. Dareus. Just keep remembering the B'slapping the Jets and others gave our run defense last year.
  12. Tough one. I voted Vick because with Pig Ben, there was some modicum of consent. The dogs had no choice - fight or die, be electrocuted, beatened and burned. The guy was a heartless pr*ck. That said, Pig Ben disgusted me as well. It's like being asked if you were neck deep in a barrel of shite and someone threw a pail of p*ss at your face would you duck?
  13. Clabo I'm with you, but I would not break the bank on Soliai. He had a decent year (his first decent year of four years in the league) but was hardly dominant. The Fish's D gave up boatloads of yards on the ground. If the price were right, okay. But I would not sink mega dollars into this guy.
  14. Clabo would be a tremendous signing for us. Great size and mean to boot. Great in the run game and can pass protect. He'll be 30 this season and has some miles left. Bell - Levitre - Wood - Urbik(et-al)- Clabo would be a very nice way to start the year.
  15. I say sign him so I can remember what exactly TE's do. It's been awhile since I've seen one actually used by the Bills
  16. Saw the pin but thought it was just for comments and not new material. I will defer to an opinion strongly held...and the mods can make the call.
  17. Did a search and didn't see this posted. More Cam and more talk of him coming to the Bills. A good read. link
  18. Frankly, just size and brains. I think all we need to know is if they are football players and that we can only get from watching the games. The combine just tells us they are healthy and how many brain cells are working.
  19. Trade our #3 for Tim freakin' Tebow???? Really? Has this board gone crackerdogs? Let's all take a deep breath and back away from the keyboard. Tebow's going to have a Jim McMahon type of career. People will like him and root for him but he's just not that talented. If all the stars align, he may have a chance at the big game, but not because of what he brings to the table. Keep our pick and let's continue our discussion on Cam VS. Defense at #3.
  20. Now there you go with facts. It ruins a perfecdtly good tantrum on the part of some on this thread who think somehow we would be a better team with Jonathan Scott and Ritchie Incognito on board. I'd rather play guys who needed to play or to see what they got when your team is on the rebuild. Both of those guys were not in any long term picture for us. As it stands now, let's just get a freakin' RT in the draft of FA and I think we're going to be fine.
  21. Think this is in a previous thread.
  22. Watching tape of Bowers, Fairley and Dareus, I was least impressed by Bowers. Dareus is so quick and athletic for a big man and has power for a bull rush. He sheds blockers better than FaIrley. Fairley has power and a nasty streak I liked. Nothing really popped out at me watching Bowers - though stats dictate he's got something going on.
  23. The mods are going to bust you with that major of a cut and paste. Copyright issues bro.
  24. Miller is just lame. A once clever and funny comic now reduced to playing the Sammy Davis Jr. role in the right-wing Rat Pack.
