Look, what goes up must come down. Jets are a better team than we are right now but that won't last forever. They were the sad sacks of the league for a long time and it will happen again. I'd worry more about improving and not what a bunch of D*ckheads do. The best comeback it to win. I was happy to see some progress on the D line and LB. They did not run wild on us as they have in the past. We had a rook on a pro bowl center and young guys in key spots on the D line and OLB as well as ILB. They will get better and better and if fact, getting a beat-down now will serve their education well. So screw the outrage at being mocked. Their time will come and I do hope we have more class than they do when it happens.

Bottom line is if you don't own the 25-45 female demographic you're marginal in radio. I worked with Beth and she's terrific. They got a new 30-something boss put in to be a hatchet man to weed out all halfway decent salaries. I tell all my old colleagues, hit 40 you got to get out of media. The guy who canned Beth will get his one day as well.

Ummm, have you been watching the games? Our guys can't cover the first few seconds of a route much less "forever" as you say. A double move and our CB's are frozen like Hans Solo in carbonite. So we need CB's, bad. That said, I'd still take a speed rusher OLB first but either by FA or draft we need better CB's.

I gotta agree. The game was in his hands and didn't get it done. He's going to do that every now and again. The game also brought it ever more into focus our need for better CBs. Guess DJ wasn't all wrong.

I posted similar positive thoughts on the Buddy and Chan's hiring and was met with scorn and ridicule, not just from TBD but from my family! I was reminded of my Pollyanna feelings after each of the first 8 games last year. I just said, like it or not, these guys have a plan and they are sticking to it. I suspect we'll have a few more setbacks but stick with the plan. Chan and Buddy have proven that they know talent and they know football. I don't rub it in to the naysayers. We need everyone onboard for this ride! Go Bills!
