  1. Where is Ice when we need him? Like to see what he thinks about this.
  2. It's pretty remarkable value. I'm happy for it but I just want to say thanks TT. You got us to the playoffs after 17 years and you played your heart out. But it's time.
  3. Agree, they must think this is their year. Go all-in and win.
  4. True that. But to me he's the only one worth the money. The rest will be more expensive than their value. At the end of the day, I would love to see McBeane do what they did last year. Surprise us with some pretty cost-effective but productive signings.
  5. Agree. Which is why Mayfield has grown on me. 76% passer last year and can read a defense. Throws receivers open. After a couple of decades in purgatory, you just want to have a solid quarterback at the helm. I'm not much for drama, but damn this is going to be interesting.
  6. I wouldn't go trade up for either one of them either because of their completion ratings. Exactly my point you are what your record says. I don't like revisionist history. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda. It's not like we're talking one year's worth of review here. This is their Collegiate careers.
  7. I wonder how that guy rated DeShaun Watson and Dak Prescott? Every year these guys aren't worth drafting yet they're starting and winning. The bottom line is you're going to overpay for a quarterback.
  8. And if Napoleon had a B-2 bomber at Waterloo... Please let's live in reality. Lamarr's footwork is awful and he's not accurate. If Rosen falls out of the top 10 we got to go up and grab him.
  9. I know, I just said I would like to see the draft go this way. This is the writer's evaluations post combine. I just want us to have a shot at a decent quarterback.
  10. Love to see the draft go this way. Fat FN chance.
  11. Wow you ain't kidding! He would have been great for us, fast, covers lots of ground and can drop back and cover. Why so cheap?
  12. That would be one hell of a pickup! Wow! Just what we need. He's a nasty beast that one.
  13. Just saw this, sweet Jesus stop it!
  14. I remain skeptical. I think you're 90% fully formed coming out of college as a rule. I'm just tired of projects. Just get a guy who is accurate and can throw with anticipation. Why gamble? Let's go get someone who's done it cuz they're going to do it again.
  15. This. It's lock up a great QB and draft wisely. Expect a yearly turnover.
  16. 76% completion rate and a firey will to win should speak to Mcbeane's soul.
  17. Denver, so we can trade for their pick and get Mayfield before the Jests do.
  18. Same here. Accuracy plus a burning will to win.
  19. The thing that bothers me about Lamarr is his lack of accuracy. I have heard it time and time again that footwork and accuracy can be coached up but it never seems to happen. Then I hear revisionist stats such as - if nobody dropped a pass on him he'd be 10 pct pts higher in his completion rate. For once why not draft a QB that is accurate from the get-go and can throw comfortably from the pocket. I am tired of bouncing passes off the turf, missed slants and passes that need receivers with 8 foot wingspans to have a chance at the reception..
  20. We're not asking him to be the feature back. We're asking him to come in every now and then in pound the rock. He likely has enough left to be effective in that role. Plus he can block.
