  1. My point is if you've got to move some seats, do it at a better time when emotions are riding high"er". Like after a win. And then frame it that you want the stadium packed for the team's late season playoff run.
  2. Would have waited to do this after the Dallas victory. You don't do it after a bad home loss and putting your pro bowler on IR.
  3. I'm all for taking alcohol out of the stadiums and not allowing visibly drunk people into the stadium. Doing those two things solves 90% of the problems. I wish the NFL would try it for a year.
  4. Agreed. It is a small sample size. However, out of the three guys they brought in, he's the only one that's kicked in the new Dallas stadium, and the only one who's kicked in Miami recently.
  5. I wonder if Rayner has better numbers for the stadiums he's most likely to do any kicking in during this period of time.
  6. That is exactly what they should do. Would love this move.
  7. I don't understand why they don't use Spiller and Smith more as wideouts. Then again, I'm perplexed at times as to how they use Chandler. Why can't Spiller be the home run, down the field threat as a companion to the short, quick passing game?
  8. "This includes taking the game to the opponent not playing scared." Biggest factor right there.
  9. I wonder who's out there in FA land for kickers. That's a problem we haven't had to really think about.
  10. To me, Gailey took off the Bengals and Jets games. When he's on, nobody can outcoach him.
  11. +1. The Bills did not come out on the field armed for bear like they did against the Patriots and Eagles. I don't think the Jets are all that much better than the Bills. It's just that our team showed up yesterday with no intensity. We lose those games.
  12. I agree. This team, including Gailey, comes loaded for bear for certain games like the Patriots and after losses, but seems to take a step back for others, including yesterday. I felt early on the offense lacked the punch you saw in the wins. It felt like the offense of the Bengals game. I knew the team was going to come out and play well against the Redskins, and I think you'll see an intense team effort next week against the Cowboys.
  13. The Bills had their craptacular game today. I knew that today was off by the end of the first quarter. Better now than later in the season when the games are going to really have impact. With the Giants helping us out, the loss stings but it's not tragic at this juncture in the season. That being said...this team will have a hard time putting back to back wins because it's still learning consistency. It gets up for some games and doesn't bring the same intensity week in and out. It'll need to discover how to do this starting against Dallas.
  14. If I was a Jets fan, I'd be worried. This sort of screwing around before a game always seems to be a sign that you're about to be blown out and the team's not focused. Oh well for Jets fans.
  15. The cosmic forces and NFL revenue generating conspiracy are aligned due to the new jerseys being unveiled and have provided the team and its fans this most wholesome bounty of a 5-2 record. However, the cosmic forces and conspiracy are not amused when you go tinkering with "the plan", Mr. Brandon.
  16. On offense: Run it down their throats and use Chandler in the passing game. Chandler is open. Throw it to him. On defense: Force Sanchez to throw the ball by grounding the run game.
  17. A domed stadium for the Bills removes Mother Nature as a tactical advantage. Why would you want to do that?
  18. I'd say NO to the idea. The Bills have a competitive advantage and talent in identifying and grooming UDFAs and late round draftees into good professional football players. I don't know of any other team that has the successful track record of the Bills diving into the sea of UDFA and catching good football players. I wouldn't want to give this advantage to 31 other teams that out of dumb luck will come across their George Wilson or Stevie Johnson or Kurt Warner just because they were forced to stock a minor league roster and had to have guys get on a field and play some games.
  19. I didn't wear the colors again. Between preseason and regular season, the Bills always win when I'm not wearing anything with a Bills logo on it on game day.
  20. Bennett is my favorite Bills player. I started following the team in 1986. I think the trade is a demonstration of the team taking a risk and it paying off. Sure there are other names on that list that had all-pro NFL careers but when Bennett came out of Alabama, he was THE Deal. He brutalized everybody. I think he had a great NFL career.
  21. I'd rather the team taking calculated risks versus running the organization in prevent defense.
  22. I think putting Merriman on IR was the right thing to do because it gets our healthy, young pass-rushing linebackers more playing time. This is a young man's game, especially on defense and I think Moats and Coleman will do a superior job of getting to the QB when the blitz is dialed up. I too, am interested in seeing Heard play NT.
  23. Man, everybody needs that 15 minutes right now, don't they?
  24. Offense: Get Scott Chandler back in the game with some catches. Defense: Keep the Washington running attack in check to keep the 3rd and shorts at a minimum and make Beck throw the ball for longer than 5 yards. You know Washington is going to try to beat us to death with Roy Helu.
