I posted some of McD presser highlights leading up to the scrimmage I found on twitter, its on page 2, as far as the scrimmage it hasnt happened yet. Only news is McD wants it to simulate a real game with pregame and half time routines, and Diggs wont play due to "lower back soreness"
-
McD talks about Cody Fords "nastiness" that he can flip on like a switch, says the team values that.
-
YOU brought the question of whether or not they would scrimmage into this thread. They are scrimmaging, that should end that part of this discussion. Move on. The rest of us in this thread have. Scrimmage discussion, as the thread title implies. You are now the one who can find or start another thread if you arent into this particular discussion about the scrimmage.

I am most certainly NOT a "stick to sports guy", but we LITERALLY have another entire forum dedicated to politcal posts. You of all people should know this and encourage it.
-
From Twitter: Scrimmage is on. McD wants players to get into routines for pre game and half time, so those are occurring/will occur. No Diggs. Dealing with lower back soreness (doesnt sound major). There were convos about cancelling due to protests/strikes, decided to move forward but conversations will continue. McD said its POSSIBLE the team keeps two kickers on the 53 due to COVID, not necessarily going to happen but its possible. (Boy I hope not ,we have too much talent all over the field to waste a spot on a 2nd kicker).

Not to be that guy, but this thread is about the scrimmage today, there is a forum for politics

yea last night, well after other professional sports teams went on their various strikes, the Bills announced they would be scrimmaging this morning at 1030, so I took that as a response to both the weather and the strikes. I could be wrong though. The Ravens approach seems the most practical/effective.
-
yea I think he was mistaken in either thinking BLM or the weather could cause it to be cancelled. The Bills addressed both of those issues last night though, they will scrimmage.

not sure what I was supposed to gleam from that article, but I did enjoy reading it! Good insight into the young man. As far as my comment about his name, he told Maddy Glab (I THINK it was her, or some other female reporter) that he prefers to be called Gabriel. I was just correcting to honor his wishes.

Cards make Baker the highest paid safety in the NFL

Milano is expendable. Love the dude, solid LB, fits perfectly for what we do. BUT, theres only so much money to go around, and you pay White and then Edmunds on defense. Draft well to fill future voids at LB/DE/S. Its cap management. I am happy we have this problem instead of overypaying for bums so they will give us a sniff. Have to have money for Tre, Edmunds and Allen. Everything else after that is a far leap below. -
the kicks being reported on are the ones that occur during 11 v 11 as "live kicks". The kickers spend the majority of their time practicing mechanics and kickoffs/fieldgoals away from a team setting.

Bryan Cox Jr making the roster = Trent Murphy cap savings cut....and im here for it

The plan to replace Lorenzo Alexander?
PaattMaann replied to warrior9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zo was an average pass rusher on third downs, we can replace that. He didn't play much LB per game anyway. We can replace that. I would say I am more worried about replacing his leadership, but we have a lot of guys who are emerging as leaders on this team. So I am less worried about that. Zo was a great Bills player, mostly for his attitude and community work. His football play will easily be replaced. -
Tom brady not retiring according to himself
PaattMaann replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady was already a shell of himself this year. We saw how that goes, Pats just arent that good with him at QB offensively. Didn't translate to wins for us against you guys for a few reasons. But I wont mind if he's playing for the Pats again next season, which I fully expect. He will never be the reason you guys beat us again, I am confident of that. -

Bills at Texans Playoff Game, Saturday 4:35 pm

I agree with the game plan of running the ball. But I also know we need to get Josh going early or he has accuracy/jitters issues. First drive needs to have quick hitting passes and designed Josh runs so he can settle in early. Otherwise we will score 9 points all game. Have to get him going...then pound the rock and let him play.
