  1. reports would still leak though. We have found out every day from these reports, not from official NFL word.
  2. OR, and this might sound crazy, but they keep doing what they have been doing because its worked??? lol
  3. Yes to Tuesday being nationally broadcast at 7 pm on CBS Chiefs game is still offically "to be played later in the weekend", so no answers there.
  4. there is noooo way White doesnt play tuesday. You think were rolling into a game with 3 CBs???? Lol, no way. They are doing what they do, being cautious with a minor, minor injury. And yes, it was copy paste today since no practice. I am not worried about White oneeeee bit.
  5. waayyyyyy harder to do for the NFL than NBA
  6. Exactly. Everyones crying right now and we know absolutely nothing.
  7. I dont think they do. They are getting a nationally televised game on Tuesday against the Titans, so they still get a national game AND we dont know if the Bills vs Chiefs game is going to be a national game or not yet
  8. it is not correct. 14 days isnt a real thing in the NFL. its a symptom based timeline combined with two consecutive negative tests
  9. was reported yesterday itll be a nationally televised game
  10. We dont know for sure if we lost a home primetime game yet, plus with no fans...who cares if its home? You said the nation wont get to see live shots of niagara falls as intros and outros for commercials?
  11. thats not true PTR Its all symptoms based on return time. see: Falcons player who returned after 13 days WITH symptoms
  12. Still down two starting WRs and their best d-lineman, ill take it
  13. I think this a very likely option but I think the NFL is going to wait until tomorrow to see if they start getting negative tests from the Titans again - so they can force the game to be played monday or tuesday. Stringing it along
  14. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/13/broadcast-games-saturdays-nfl-permission-us-government-big-ten.html An anti-trust law was passed in 1961 which outlaws the NFL from broadcasting on friday-saturday night so that high school and college can show their games. The NFL COULD, and would likely be granted, seek a waiver/permission to work around that rule due to COVID.
  15. yea I don't disagree at all, but like has been said this season isnt about fair, its about getting it in
  16. Dianna Russini on ESPN said titans and bills players are told they might play the game monday or tuesday (IF THE POSITIVE TESTS DISSAPEAR IN THE NEXT TWO DAYS), in which case the Bills/Chiefs game gets moved to Saturday night (NFL wants it on a non football day to generate revenue for themselves and FOX)
  17. I disagree. I think the NFL has a lot of great protocols in place...and why we have seen very minimal spread of this easily spreadable virus. The breakdown happens when INDIVIDUALS choose not to follow those protocols. I don't fault the NFL for that. However, they likely SHOULD HAVE built in shared bye weeks for all teams to make up games that would be cancelled, inevitably. But overall I think they have done a good job.
  18. Because of the recent Titans outbreak yes. My apologies for my misquote. The NFL decided before the season they would trust and rely on PCR tests over POC tests to determine players eligibility. Please accept my humble apology, you are corect beyond correct.
  19. Correct. They dont rely on POC test, thats why they are doing the PCR tests and thats the results they rely on (and the ones that Titans players are currently hitting positive on)
  20. the NFL isnt using rapid test (meaning 15 minutes). They are using 12-24 hour test because they believe its more reliable. If the players see their kids who are going to school all day that is NOT a bubble.
  21. what about the fact many many players have kids....their kids are supposed to go to school. Im sure they can arrange virtual learning through their school, but many parents dont want that. It is a good idea I just dont know if it can be forced upon players/families. Simple solution would be IF the NFLPA agrees to a bubble with a family invite they would get the one time option of having your family join the bubble. Does a player assume the responsibility/fine if their family member violates the bubble agreement and then infects others?
  22. So, it sounds like you are painting a picture that supports your preconceived beliefs about the NFL not being able to contain this and finish the season. So far, we are still at one team that has an outbreak because it looks like they didnt follow protocols...the rest are isolated incidents with no further team-to-team spread. Ill wait until that isnt the case before I start becoming a chicken little, personally.
  23. and also, Tennessee is inland, there would be some rain and a little wind at worst. They will be playing the game. Its not like its coastal florida.
