  1. They love running a power run look to the right but then pitching to Taylor going left/weakside...their backup LT did a good job run blocking yesterday. Costanzo out and Veldheer in is a big loss for the Colts. When Costanzo first got hurt a few weeks ago, I Read an article that had some kind of incredible stat in it, that since he was drafted, in games Costanzo didnt play due to injury, the offensive numbers for the colts dropped DRASTICALLY, as well as wins. Man I'm gonna see if I can find the stat. I do remember that in the game he got injured in, I think it was the Titans game, The colts went 0-8 on successful drives the rest of the game. He was hugely important to their offensive success.
  2. oh ok, I just wasn't sure which way you were going with that. Yea playoff games do tend to be close, because well obviously its usually hard to get into the playoffs and the level of parity rises. That kind of goes with the territory.
  3. I am not sure if you are suggesting this or not, but I am taking this like "the bills have been great on offense but dont be surprised if they go kind of conservative because thats what happens in the playoffs"...which, if that is what you are expecting, you are INSANE! This offense will be pedal to the metal, full throttle, unleashed. This is our teams identity, that is Josh's identity now. I fully expect them to throw the ball all around the yard and put up points, like they have all year. This better be what we see them attempt to do, its what we do!
  4. I will be in the house. Ive had seasons for 15 years, but name switched 7 years ago to my wifes account....reasons are not remembered but often cried about My wifes company is a corporate sponsor of the Bills and Sabres and they came through and got us tickets, section 133. I am beyond thrilled, will be the loudest MF'er in that building. It is going to be insane.
  5. from Banged Up Bills on Twitter: (full disclosure I didnt read this thread at all, just sharing knowledge, if someone already posted this earlier just disregard) 1 of 2 possible scenarios: 1- contusion, will be fine for first playoff game 2- meniscus, can be played through with pain tolerance (Kelvin Benjamin a couple years ago) and thats worst case scenario
  6. it was, but no fair since it was reported half hour ago that it was their strength coach. you get no points because you could have cheated.
  7. no way. just some staffer at their facility. All good.
  8. I cried after we went to the playoffs with the Dalton TD, wont cry this time. I expect it. Winning the division also isnt a big deal to me, going to the playoffs is, however you get there.
  9. and also really friggin good when blitzed : ) you beat him like you beat any very good QB, hope to get home with your regular 4 or 5 man rush.
  10. Yes, theres different stages that each player much pass through successfully with no side effects before they can be cleared to the next stage. So you cant go from conussion to cleared in a day. Have to go through rest and stretching, then if your good the next day you can do light workout, then if your good you can do strength continue cardio...after that and theres no side effects, the team / neurosurgeon evaluates and clears a player. Those all take multiple days at minimum. This article explains it pretty good. https://www.sportscasting.com/nfl-concussion-protocol-explained-how-does-it-work/
  11. This is no surprise. He will likely be in protocol until saturday. Takes a minimum amount of days to move through the protocol.
  12. a good move regardless. We need him in the playoffs, not for the regular season. Let him sit until week 17 and get him some reps then to get him back to game speed.
  13. I just dont care who we play. We will be in every game against whoever we play. Period. I prefer to play the steelers because we just beat them so my memory is fresh. There isnt a team, Chiefs included, that I dont think we have a real good chance at beating.
  14. because of history, but you know this. BBFS is a real thing brotha. Weirdly enough, after the Chiefs game I got over my BBFS. Now during games im mostly confident and calm (I mean, this is a relative term, I still have highs and lows and swear and jump around). I just have a faith in knowing we got this. During the Cardinals game, a good friend texted me right before our should have been game winning drive "you must be going nuts right now" and I wasnt, I just knew Josh was gonna go win us that game. We are really good. Just start believing it and you will enjoy the ride even more.
  15. exactly. I can think of two occasions where he threw to Motor in the flat and he made a guy miss and got at least 5 yards. Take it Josh.
  16. I think Singletary and Moss are just as good at catching out of the backfield as Yeldon. We just dont do much of it.
  17. Spillane wont be playing. Tomlin slow played it in his presser saying "still being evaluated", but the beat reporters said he "will avoid surgery, but will miss time, expected back this season". He aint playing. Haden is worth watching for. Personally I doubt he clears concussion protocol on a short week, but it has been done. Like you say, two big blows if they are out.
  18. we are not the team to "get right" against
  19. we have him and he goes by the nickname of Motor. This offense doesnt need "a true #1 RB". Motor doesnt have game breaking speed, but as you saw last night on the 4th down play inside the 49ers 5 yard line, he has enough speed to get to the edge and get a quality first. He breaks tackle after tackle, has excellent vision and reliable hands. He is our number 1 back. Learn to love it.
  20. I doubt Tomlin can do much to "amp up the practice" this week as someone suggested in this thread because most of his team probably wont be able to walk normally for a few days. 2 games in 6 days is very difficult on the body. These guys will still be sore when they play us on Sunday. I'm liking how this is trending.
  21. I stopped reading after #1 (not because this is a bad recap for the record, I will go back and read the rest after I post). I get ALL the feels from this team. They truly love each other and I LOVE ROOTING FOR THEM!
  22. it was the amount of idiot gamblers who pushed the line towards to 9ers, because the line switched early in the week. sharp money comes in right before the game.
  23. I want nothing more than a HUGE game from Josh. Like 350 and 4 TDs huge. Just be on fire all night long.
  24. It appears that way because Josh is really really good in the pocket and buying a little more time.
