  1. hahahahahhahahaahahahaahahhaahhaa
  2. The wife and I were on team no kids for the first 8 years of our marriage. We went out all the time. We traveled. We lived the good life. We agreed kids likely weren't for us, but if one of us wanted kids they should bring it up to the other. She came to me a year ago and said she wanted to have kids. I said OK. Our son was born at the beginning of April. Coming from not wanting kids (not a hater of kids, knew I would be a good dad if I became one, just really enjoyed our free time and lives as they were) to having one - it is incredible and there is NOTHING that anyone can say to you that will prepare you for how your feeling about everything change literally the second you meet your child. Be prepared for lack of sleep - our son has always been a great sleeper but there is still lack of sleep, (for example, sometimes I just wake up in the night and cant fall asleep for not reason, that never used to happen.) Be prepared to be very emotional about things, its not just women. Enjoy every second of the ride. Enjoy these next 6 months because everything will be very different. Congratulations. Being a dad is the most satisfying and stressful experience one can have.
  3. I do like that we at least have to practice in the rain today if were gonna be playing in it sunday. Maybe McD can bring out a sprinkler (or practice in the field house and turn on the fire sprinklers) for tomorrows practice.
  4. Buffalo Rumblings tweeted that Hyde would need two consecutive days of practice in order to clear protocol, and hes not practicing today so he is OUT for sunday.
  5. Zimmer, Phillips and thats it Which is why im hopeful Butler/Jefferson will play, otherwise id guess we would have made a move?
  6. lots of no practicing still - Cody Ford, Jefferson and Butler, Norman...hyde on the bike. Dont love it
  7. I dont know, what was it?
  8. well yes, but Im referring to McD saying to his team in the locker room post game "I told you all week, Men, this was the most important game of our season"
  9. im starting to worry and ive been confident all season. McDermott used the whole "this is our biggest game of the season" spiel last week for the Jets game. I know the players know this is a super important game, but it worries me. Patriots know that their season is over if they lose to us this week. The weather is gonna be real crappy and we haven't played well in crappy, rainy and windy games under McD with this roster. We are the FAR superior team in terms of talent. But I need my fears assuaged, anyone help me out here?
  10. surprised you lasted that long
  11. dude just throws shat against the wall and hopes it sticks. No one has said that yet. But I also pray its true. Ford at LG and Mongo at RG is ideal
  12. 4 milly next year right?
  13. not taking on his contract so no trade
  14. that has nothing to do with him not being a leader of the team
  15. he's been a leader here for years. He is only seen negatively by fans who don't really know what they are seeing on a football field.
  16. I think our fanbase would do themselves a lot of good by watching other football teams. All teams have problems during games, during the season etc. Blow outs arent the norm in the NFL, over 70 percent of games are decided by 3 or less points. Yes this team has struggled at times, and in certain areas. Its a fact of life in the NFL. Ill take the wins and be happy, and knowing McD and Co. are trying to improve every week.
  17. I know that the Patriots will do everything they can to confuse Josh. Likely very similar to what he saw last week with mixed half field coverages that made him question his eyes and hesitate on some throws, and thus not throwing to the correct guys. Josh's legs will have to keep us moving early on in this game until he/they can figure it out. Also I am sure there will be lots of short underneath throws all game again, which I am fine with. Cannot have the penalties and drops that have plagued us the past two weeks. I am still very confident we win this game. Might not be pretty, and I dont give a Sh#%. Just get to 6-2 with a stranglehold on the division.
  18. is this some weird British saying?
  19. he has arthritis in his wrists and it keeps his wrists loose...its like cracking knuckles
  20. NO IDEA why that happened hahaha, but your response was amazing.
  21. at least 5 on the LOS all day with run and pass blitzes. Get Josh running early so he settles himself down. Take what the D gives you. Dont be afraid of Gilmore, lots of comeback routes with Diggs.
  22. So why is that on Daboll?
  23. were playing the Jets, its ok, let all even remotely dinged up guys get healthy
  24. pats passing game is booty....but yea we need to get healthy.
  25. I am sure he is referring to Darnold being able to get outside the pocket, so when rushing him you have to keep that in mind...whereas with Flacco you can more or less tee off
