  1. dude just throws shat against the wall and hopes it sticks. No one has said that yet. But I also pray its true. Ford at LG and Mongo at RG is ideal
  2. 4 milly next year right?
  3. not taking on his contract so no trade
  4. that has nothing to do with him not being a leader of the team
  5. he's been a leader here for years. He is only seen negatively by fans who don't really know what they are seeing on a football field.
  6. I think our fanbase would do themselves a lot of good by watching other football teams. All teams have problems during games, during the season etc. Blow outs arent the norm in the NFL, over 70 percent of games are decided by 3 or less points. Yes this team has struggled at times, and in certain areas. Its a fact of life in the NFL. Ill take the wins and be happy, and knowing McD and Co. are trying to improve every week.
  7. I know that the Patriots will do everything they can to confuse Josh. Likely very similar to what he saw last week with mixed half field coverages that made him question his eyes and hesitate on some throws, and thus not throwing to the correct guys. Josh's legs will have to keep us moving early on in this game until he/they can figure it out. Also I am sure there will be lots of short underneath throws all game again, which I am fine with. Cannot have the penalties and drops that have plagued us the past two weeks. I am still very confident we win this game. Might not be pretty, and I dont give a Sh#%. Just get to 6-2 with a stranglehold on the division.
  8. is this some weird British saying?
  9. he has arthritis in his wrists and it keeps his wrists loose...its like cracking knuckles
  10. NO IDEA why that happened hahaha, but your response was amazing.
  11. at least 5 on the LOS all day with run and pass blitzes. Get Josh running early so he settles himself down. Take what the D gives you. Dont be afraid of Gilmore, lots of comeback routes with Diggs.
  12. So why is that on Daboll?
  13. were playing the Jets, its ok, let all even remotely dinged up guys get healthy
  14. pats passing game is booty....but yea we need to get healthy.
  15. I am sure he is referring to Darnold being able to get outside the pocket, so when rushing him you have to keep that in mind...whereas with Flacco you can more or less tee off
  16. Our D line has two different DT positions, meaning they are asked to do different things. The 1 tech is asked to eat up blocks and maintain the line of scrimmage / keep blockers from getting a free run into the second level (linebackers) - this is normally Star's role. The 3 tech is usually more aggressive at getting into the backfield and being a disrupter. Ed was drafted to be the 3 tech but since he is our best DT at doing the 1 tech job (because Star opted out) he is being asked to do that.
  17. This is something that is more than fair to wonder about. I am also not sure. Really it seems like you have Oliver, Butler and Harry as the 3-t's because they are all better suited for that role and then just Star as the 1-T. Maybe they thought they could get away with those 30 percent of other snaps that Star doesnt play being a combo of the other guys?? Good point though.
  18. AFTER free agency/the draft. And in a year when we were already close to the cap spending, and having extensions of key players coming up, JMHO that its understandable they couldnt/didnt address it and hoped they can piece together a solution from the current roster. That obviously isnt working NOW, but options are limited.
  19. Or....they are in a bind and trying to do their best with what they have? Oliver would be thriving as the 3-tech, what he was drafted for. That isnt on Beane for drafting him or Coaches for not developing him there - because he isnt playing there. How could they plan for Star opting out and forcing him to play there?
  20. how about that Oliver isnt as effective this season because hes being asked to play the 1-tech when he should be playing the 3-tech, the position we drafted him for?
  21. yet, they could have. Thats my whole point. We WERE in the game. Get a stop (many third downs) or a TO (half a second knee down difference) and Josh has the ball with the chance to go take the lead - which he has done routinely over his short career. Only game we looked like schmucks was the Titans game. We hung with the Chiefs despite playing like poo poo on offense for most of the game, and despite letting them run all over us.
  22. No doubt, and you aren't raining on my parade. I understand why Bills fans get so negative so quickly after a bad game or two. I know this team has deficiencies and knew that going into this season. Some look worse than they are, some aren't as bad as they look. Run defense and running the ball are def. two concerns. Run defense is bad. It is NOT as bad as Monday showed though because that was literally our gameplan. "Please run the ball so we can keep it close". You may not like how it looked, I didn't, but I understand it. I know they didnt wanna let up 250 yards rushing, but I know they expected the offense to do more than poop themselves. Our rushing offense is bad, but it doesnt concern me personally because we are, and are going to be, a passing offense. The plays have been there for the offense to make the past two weeks, they just havent made them. Long season in a week to week league. The vast majority of games are decided by 3 or less points.
  23. I understand. I just stay even keel because I know that its a long season with such week to week fluctuation. As far as the bolded part, I cannot personally say that just yet. We got blown out by the Titans, again, lots went into that week and I can see how we went and laid an egg. And for the Chiefs, we were in the game with 6 minutes to go (if the RB's knee doesnt touch down half a second later we get a crucial turnover and can go take the lead - not saying it definitely happens, just saying it very well could have). So I cannot say we arent on that level yet. We will keep learning more and more about this team every week.
  24. We have won or had a chance to win every game we have played this season except the Titans (lots going on that week/every team lays an egg/I think it could just be an outlier). There is literally no disputing that fact. You may not look how we looked in any, some or all of those games, but that is a fact. Thats what I want from my team. I dont know how you can expect anything different. The NFL is a difficult, week to week league. Is there reason to be concerned about how we have looked at times in certain areas of our team? Absolutely. Can you say that about literally every NFL team? Absolutely.
  25. I guess not, maybe you should get glasses?
