I think this a very likely option but I think the NFL is going to wait until tomorrow to see if they start getting negative tests from the Titans again - so they can force the game to be played monday or tuesday. Stringing it along

I disagree. I think the NFL has a lot of great protocols in place...and why we have seen very minimal spread of this easily spreadable virus. The breakdown happens when INDIVIDUALS choose not to follow those protocols. I don't fault the NFL for that. However, they likely SHOULD HAVE built in shared bye weeks for all teams to make up games that would be cancelled, inevitably. But overall I think they have done a good job.

Correct. They dont rely on POC test, thats why they are doing the PCR tests and thats the results they rely on (and the ones that Titans players are currently hitting positive on)

the NFL isnt using rapid test (meaning 15 minutes). They are using 12-24 hour test because they believe its more reliable. If the players see their kids who are going to school all day that is NOT a bubble.

what about the fact many many players have kids....their kids are supposed to go to school. Im sure they can arrange virtual learning through their school, but many parents dont want that. It is a good idea I just dont know if it can be forced upon players/families. Simple solution would be IF the NFLPA agrees to a bubble with a family invite they would get the one time option of having your family join the bubble. Does a player assume the responsibility/fine if their family member violates the bubble agreement and then infects others?

So, it sounds like you are painting a picture that supports your preconceived beliefs about the NFL not being able to contain this and finish the season. So far, we are still at one team that has an outbreak because it looks like they didnt follow protocols...the rest are isolated incidents with no further team-to-team spread. Ill wait until that isnt the case before I start becoming a chicken little, personally.

All the weather sites I have checked say rain is done saturday evening. Even if it was raining and windy, why would they not play the football game there? Plenty of games have been played with rain and wind. But again, Accuweather, weather.gov (national weather service) both show nothing wrong with game day.

Reasons we should ROLL the Titans. There has been a good amount of talk about their defense being stout. I havent really seen that from them this season. Last year they were. This year, not so much. Minshew's Jags ate them up all game long, and if it werent for missed FGs/a batted INT, the Jags could have stole that game from Tennessee. Minshew threw for 350 and they ran for another 150, Titans looked slow and generated very little pass rush against an average offense. Against Minnesota, Dalvin Cook WENT OFF and had almost 200 yards rushing. This defense looks like they can be ran on pretty easily. Add to this they are missing several starters/key backups due to COVID (most likely, no clue really what the NFLs rules are). I think we will eat their lunch. Offensively, I'm not really sure what should scare us. It took 6 field goals for them to beat a bad, sputtering Vikings team. Their offense stalled at times against a bad Jags defense. Derrick Henry is a big guy who can break tackles, so was Jacobs last week. Limit Henry, get up in the game and force Tannehill to try and beat us and I don't think they stand a chance - especially if their slot guy is out due to COVID (again, who knows?). We should handle business this week, unless we are looking ahead to the Chiefs, which I dont think there is any chance McD and the staff, and our locker room leaders let that happen. I was more worried about the Raiders last week and I thought we would beat them 30-13. Bills by double digits.

I like how everyone keeps pushing back "when the schedule gets hard" lol. Started out as week 2 vs the Rams was when the tests began, then it was going on the road to take on a pretty decent Vegas team, now its the Titans on the road, then itll be the chiefs and so on. How about, its the NFL and every win is special and meaningful. Line up on sunday or monday or thursday and take care of business. So far thats what weve been doing.

Similar defensive gameplan as yesterday, which worked quite well. The titans offense does not scare me one bit. We should roll this team.

I thought our run defense was very much improved yesterday...even without a true 1 tech

I specifically remember one big chunk run by the Raiders where Edmunds clearly filled the wrong gap and was easily blocked. So yea he was more of a mixed bag for me.
