  1. We will know his name because he will try to cover Devin out of the backfield and will get DUSSTEDDDDDD all game. Cannot wait for it.
  2. How do you know he isnt a good blocker? Where is the film on this that you are basing/judging this from? Edit: Im not saying you are wrong with this claim, I just dont know where you are seeing this proof because I personally haven't.
  3. Agreed, I think they use Gilliam in some of those looks this week.
  4. Neither is an insurmountable loss. Moss hasnt done much, might see Yeldon catch a few passes. Just means we get to feed Devin. At least Knox wont be out there to drop passes or fumble. Uptick for Gilliam id imagine too
  5. makes betting the lines in week 3 difficult. Think I just need to stick to the Packers beating the Saints this week for my bets. Maybe sprinkle a little Bills win in there too for fun.
  6. oh totally! I get that. In my pool though, of the 60 people left, only 5 others chose the Browns and the rest went with Colts/Cardinals/Bucs. I didnt mean it was risky as in they have a high probability of losing, I meant its risky because its against the pack and ITS THE BROWNS lol (hence why im not confident)
  7. except for the crazy wind in the forecast
  8. I also went with the Browns this week in my survivor pool. Its a risk/reward move early in the season, which you have to do in order to make it far in survivor pools. I won my pool last year ($2500) by taking some risks early - I think I even went Browns early last year - which allows you to have some real strong teams late when everyone else has already used them. That said, I dont feel great about the Browns this week though haha. I mean they SHOULD stomp the Skins, but its the Browns. I never feel good about picking the Browns.
  9. if he has toes, I think thats a good thing, no? Why would having a toe keep him out of practice? I can't think of many things that would make me hate the Bills, but this would get me close. He is a dirty POS.
  10. Could you imagine Sean having the amount of free time needed to be you : )
  11. Also exactly what McD and the Bills do...copy cat
  12. Just jumpin in here....Completely agree. Hope it starts Sunday too. But if we lose sunday and then win 2 of the next 3 we will still show we can beat the better teams of the league. Not saying you are saying that, just pointing out we have a real tough 4 game stretch and winning even half of them will prove we belong.
  13. I was, I think in the rare column, in that I thought Lamar would be the best QB of that bunch, and could be really special....and thought Allen was trash. Now I know that I was dead right about Lamar but dead wrong about Allen, and I too am VERY HAPPY TO EAT MY CROW
  14. Weather update for sunday: Rain is out of the forecast (for now) but its going to be WINNDDYYYYYYYY (for now). 15-20 MPH winds all day and gusts during gametime between 30-40MPH. Good things Josh has that cannon of an arm.
  15. literally even Gase knows his opponents players
  16. there is no way you actually think McD is clueless about our opponents right? like your just venting about not liking McD pressers? You cannot possibly think an NFL head coach DOESNT KNOW HIS OPPONENTS PLAYERS.....right??
  17. BOTH Milano and Edmunds will be practicing today per Matt Parino on twitter....thats good news
  18. old man roethlisberger just so happens to QB an AFC playoff team, so theres that
  19. Exactly. I never thought Milano even had a sniff at playing in this game once I saw it was a hammy. We are probably the most cautious in the entire league with soft tissue injuries, no chance he plays.
  20. ill jump in here...common sense?
  21. Neal lines up as CB even if White/Wallace/Johnson dont go down. He lines up there fairly regularly.
  22. This would be a good strategy in theory, but we are short on corners with Norman on IR and Neal is likely to fill in some at CB. But yes I think there will be some of this package on D.
  23. I don't care what he mentions, his thread title is referring to our current team, hence why I thought this thread was a joke. Our current team has 1 game played. and we went against one of the best rushing D's in the NFL. Our gameplan was for lots of QB runs because they have struggled with that/its what the film showed/its another way to get the ground game going against a great run D. The Jets secondary is very weak so the gameplan called for Josh to throw all day, which we did with ease. This thread would have merit, in about a month or more when we actually see if "our lack of RB production is holding us back" haha
