  1. I would also not trade Allen for Jackson. Allen is a better passer than Jackson, Jackson is schemed for success (and great on the Ravens for doing that). Allen can make all of the NFL throws, Jackson can not (count how many 10 yard outs he has completed, or any throw to the outside for that matter). He has lived with easy completions, and good for him and them. He has played OUT OF THIS WORLD this year. I don't think it continues. Ill take Allen's progression over Jacksons flash in the pan. I just think thats how it will work out. I think Josh has the potential to develop into a regular top 3 QB in this league, AND has insane mobility, which many other QBs dont have. Ill take that potential all day. (I was also a HUGE Jackson advocate coming out of college. Thought he would make a really good NFL quarterback. Still think he will, but he wont be this MVP caliber every year.) I liken this debate to who would you rather have, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady. For me, its easily Peyton Manning. Reason being, you could put Peyton Manning on any team in history and he will find a way to make everyone better in a season. He was his own offensive coordinator, could make every throw, and was a brilliant QB. Tom Brady's success came because of ability for sure, but mostly due to perfect time in the perfect situation. My opinon.
  2. I fully expect us to win this game. Period. We are better than them all around. Our defense has gotten better - against better teams for the record - and their defense has regressed. Still a good unit, but not the world beaters they were for the first 6 weeks. Our offense is better too, period. We just have to execute. We WILL win this game. Too many people are writing off week 17 as "no way the dolphins beat the Patriots". The dolphins have played the patriots better than any other team has over the past 5 seasons, and Flores has motivation, Fitz has motivation, every player on their team auditioning for a spot next year (dolphins or elsewhere) has motivation. And the Patriots are washed up...I think itll be a game with the dolphins having a real shot to win. THIS WEEK IS HUGE! Go in and take care of business!
  3. he is referring to when we were on defense, and the steelers were on offense.
  4. he was engaged with the defender, who was bulldozing him into the ground, but you can see Spain's arm clearly wrapped around the back of the defender as they go to the ground. Likely a hold as called, because it is technically a hold, but anyone who has ever played football knows Spain wasnt holding this dude, he was holding ON and the defender was driving him into the ground haha
  5. We should, and will, treat this game like every other game. We will prepare a game plan to win, and go out and do that. Josh will get better, as you are implying we try and do through your way, as a result of preparing for the weeks game plan and going into the game and executing it. Simple as that.
  6. just seems weird that a fast food joint would show this game (cringe worthy dad joke, amiright?....sorry, lack of sleep)
  7. I enjoy being the underdog as much as the next guy, however, we deserve the recognition. There's no such things as quiet double digit wins. We are in the spotlight now because we EARNED IT. Enjoy it.
  8. its done to identify coverage
  9. id like him to hold onto the F'ing football
  10. might be my favorite detail and story of the season
  11. scared the Sh#t out of me, BUT, we are better than 1 player. I have faith that McD / Leslie can scheme up an answer. But boy is it nice to have the best corner in football lockin down a guy all game.
  12. in the words of Lizzo IM FEEEEELIN GOOD AS HELLLLLLL
  13. I am also wondering when fans are going to accept that this coaching staff and team doesn't mind playing tight games. And more often than not, they deliver when it matters. Browns and Ravens games are examples of us not delivering...but, we are 10-4 using that model.
  14. It seems sustainable. The regular season is almost over. We are 10-4.
  15. I hope so, he dapped me up, I dont want no poo on my hands
  16. Feliciano will play, no worries. Just spoke to him. Just had a case of the shats, he be good by Sunday.
  17. Exactly...ladies and gentlemen THE BEST WR corp in the NFL. Not even closeeeeee. Our fans, maybe its fans of ALL Teams, but I just know for sure that OUR FANS are always talking up the opponents like they are world beaters. This is another classic example. I would even argue that our own trio of WRs are currently better than the Steelers lol. Brown/Beasley and insert whoever the hell you want as our third WR lol, we certainly have more production out of our top two WRs than they have gotten out of that "big three".
  18. they havent fallen on their face?? Their offense has SUCKED. They totaled 152 yards passing last week against the worst defense in the NFL. 200 yards against the Browns the week before that. 118 yards against the Bengals....if that isnt falling on their face, im not sure what is?? lol
  19. sure, you can definitely disagree, thats the point of a message board. I am confident literally no one else on earth agrees with you though (see the replies to your comment above already)
  20. so instead of admitting your argument is asinine you just play dumb about how I phrased it? cool man, thanks for your great contribution!
  21. you already know the answer, but cute
  22. hahahahhahaah, oh boy. Texans say hi Falcons say hi Saints say hi Packers say hi Cleveland says hi Dallas says hi Buccaneers say hi and thats just right now off the top of my head dude GTFO with that. Smith Schuster is a good WR, but lets pump the breaks on him even being ELITE yet...one good year, one great year, and hes been hurt all year this year. Washington is a 2nd year WR who was meh last year but showed glimpses, and has been decent this year. And Johnson is a rookie. Calling them "as good as any" in the league is a farce.
  23. Per your Daboll point - he called a game that both had guys open short, and guys open Deep. Allen chose to go for the throat and go deep, and routinely missed. Then when he did hit on them, they were dropped. I don't fault Daboll for that. Allen beat denver and dallas and tennesee, all top 10 defenses. But I guess it only counts when Allen can't beat a top defense, not when he does.
  24. the how so is you need the BACK END to hold up to a cover 0...and you need to run a lot of man defense. The steelers dont have either of that. I expect them to run their usual zone coverages (defenses Josh and the Offense have done well against) but also adding in some LB/slot blitzes. Way different than what the ravens/pats did to us.
  25. not every team can execute the Book that the Ravens and NE put out there though. In fact, they are likely the only two teams in the league who CAN execute it.
