cool?

there is almost zero chance, ok there IS zero chance, we play them in the wild card game.....first two teams get a bye, they will be the first or at worst 2nd seed. I know we havent factored much into the playoffs in the past 20 years, but come on.

Brandt: "People are crazy to tell Josh Allen not to run"

He has gotten better with footwork throughout the year, but yes he has struggled with this mightily. We should see a chip by a RB (if not a downright double team) or TE to Miller's outside shoulder as each releases to slow him down and give Ford a chance to set his feet and engage. That should really help him with the speed rush. Also not getting in too many obvious passing situations, and varying the snap count will all help.

Minnys interior offensive line is also banged up and backups...def. not saying Shelby Harris isnt a really good NT, but our interior is superior to Minnys

this comparison has been made since like the patriots loss. Except there is ZERO hype around Allen like there was with Trubisky lol. I guess theres a comparison...but, who cares? We are 7-3 against the teams we have played, and theres no secret we have a really solid defense that is the strength of our team, and an offense that needs to keep improving. We will likely face a really tough opponent if we make it to the wildcard round and who knows what will happen. Next years schedule, as of now, does look a lot harder. And even if we get better we could struggle to get to 10/11 wins. NFC West looks really good. But, its way too early to call it a tough schedule (its too difficult week to week let alone a year out!) with injuries/free agency/coaching changes/luck etc. Who knows so what is the point of comparing the two?

chip by TE / chip by RB / double team help from TE or OG will help cover Ford throughout the game against Miller...Miller isnt the best pass rusher in football, hes a really good pass rusher, but with proper gameplanning, which I expect, we should be OK. Especially if we are smart and run an up tempo offense that Denvers D struggles with. This is a big reason why our staff has been rotating Ford at OT all season, to have him progress along slowly because they knew he needed work. The next few weeks will be a test to see how much he has absorbed now that he will be getting all the reps.

Micah Hyde, on his regular monday appearnace on that terrible Schlepp and the bulldog, said that no one is using the term "must win" this week, but that the team knows they need to come out strong and put this team down. Take care of business. That was encouraging to hear because you know the players are treating this game as a must win.

Around the League, week 11
PaattMaann replied to Ridgewaycynic2013's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
that game just got flexed from 1 to 430 too I think, NFL is planning on that being a marquee matchup -
It is also possible the line actually just really played well in pass pro...they have had moments where they have protected really well. I think its likely a combo of bad pass rush and good pass pro

Why will Denver definitely move the ball? We have faced better offenses and they haven't easily moved the ball. Denver hasn't been an offensive juggernaut lol. They played better this week against Minnesota after having a full extra bye week to game plan and practice for them. They have a good run game and Sutton could cause White problems due to his size and physicality, but they have a young and inexperienced QB coming into not great weather against a really good D, on the road. We do need to play a full game for sure, and itll be close. I just dont see their offense as a problem if, as you say, we come to play.

Denver played well for a half against a Minnesota team coming off a huge emotional win over the Cowboys - a game that very much mattered. Denver had a full week off to prepare and plan for Minnesota. Minnesota's D isnt as good as our D. Denver does have a legit defense. Playing that game in a dome in ideal weather helped their offense as well. We should win, but it will be a close game.

The Eye of the Tiger !!!
PaattMaann replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
apparently Tremaine Edmunds delivered a heartfelt speech to the team saturday night - anyone had insight into what exactly he said? Like hearing that he stepped up vocally, he sure played damn well. -
they absolutely will, no worries. Also a lot of play action to keep their d-line honest. Hope to see some WR screens to Von's side with cut blocks on him immediately. Id say RB screens too but we dont/cant run those really well so I doubt it

JLC's report has been beat back by several local Broncos beat writers, and Cecil Lammey (footballguys.com and local broncos radio guy) - who went on a twitter diatribe yesterday against that report, saying JLC has no friggin clue what he hes talking about, and that the locker room is actually pretty tight and behind Fangio and his "process". So take it for what its worth. I do really like seeing them blow that lead against the Vikings yesterday though, hopefully all wind is out of their sails now.

I dont forget that at all. My post wasn't negative. It was realizing the reality. He is a project QB with a ton of arm talent. Have to give him time to develop. Brown aint a WR2....hes on pace to come close or surpass Andre Reeds best numbers here for a single season. Your smoking some good stuff. Does Brown LOOK like a WR 1? Not necessarily. Does he go get contested balls like SOME WR 1's? No. But he gets open consistently and catches balls...period. Can't believe people are still in that camp. Yes I agree we could use another WR 1 or an actual WR 2 (Beasley is slot). Josh has weapons, and its helping his development. Could surely use another though, on that I do agree.

that was also Milano out game which led to that

“One-Hit Wonders” for every NFL Team
PaattMaann replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
im not wondering it, of course he will, its the NFL...you only get suspended for any length of time if you smoke pot!! Garrett playing sunday isnt even out of the question in my mind lol -
Agreed. Just really hoping he develops into the QB who hits those throws that good QBs make. He is still in his second year (and not even really that...has had less than a season and a half as a starter) as a RAW prospect coming out of a nothing college program. Gonna take time, IF it happens at all...he gets through next season before I will reach a conclusion as to if he is "the guy" or not.

Is Dawson Knox the 3rd best receiver on the team?
PaattMaann replied to Motorin''s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

thread of the year candidate here, lol

Anyone else think Bills will dominate on Sunday?
PaattMaann replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unless you think allen isnt talented then I disagree completely. We have two very good WRs, one who is setting records as a Bill so far (Brown). Two more than capable RBs, and a starting o-line that is great at run blocking and getting better at pass pro every week. Morse = great center. Dawkins = capable and even good LT. Spain = capable starting guard. Feliciano = capable to good starting guard. We are lacking a true starter at RT, WR 3 and maybe TE. So 3 starting spots could use an upgrade.....thats probably in as good shape or better than more than half the teams in the league. You have to be able to score points with that talent. We have the weapons/talent to score points. Unless of course your argument is Allen isnt good, because in the NFL, thats what it really comes down to. And if that is your argument, thats a different discussion completely. -
Bills should move CHRIS BROWN to Scouting Department
PaattMaann replied to kirkwoodus13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hes been more than fine fitting balls in tight windows, he has no touch on long balls, that is where his accuracy has been poop since coming into the league. -
100% problem with the Deep Ball this year.
PaattMaann replied to Allen2Moulds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
fair point there too, "on the shots that Josh took deep yesterday that were incomplete, and not interefered with, so the other 5ish, were no where near their targets, and it wouldnt have mattered who the WRs were". There. Pick that one apart BANDIT! : )
