did anyone else see this gem of a movie? I dont consider myself a Tarantino lover, I think most of his movies are solid, and some spectacular....but I was not even planning on seeing this movie in theaters until a friend told me "I must" - I went on MLK JR day and all I can say is....holy ****!!!! what a masterpiece The acting was out of this world by literally EVERY character, the cinematography was beyond quality, and the music made the movie...Tarantino/whoever did the music seemed to know exactly which song would perfectly fit the mood (create the mood) of characters and scenes, one extended scene of James Brown/Tupac mashup was incredible.....the use of rap in a couple of scenes was badassery to the max... I will stop gushing now, but if anyone else saw this, what did you think? I cannot wait until this is released on DVD

NYS has done the same, and in about 5 years, packs of smokes went from about 4 or 5 bucks to 10....and smoking is down, so one could argue the tax has worked - they are even taxing Indian smokes now too glad I quit a few years ago - still go plenty of years for my lungs to fully recover

we always have a little shin dig at our place....just making lots of apps, no "main meal" as we have done in the past (home made meatball sammies one year, pulled pork one year, and last year was about 20 home made pizzas) the girls go in one room and chit chat, and the men swill beer and watch the game as our classy women dote on us

like many Phish 2nd sets...especially those featuring '2001' and 'Ghost' or 'No Quarter' as of late (Zep cover) and many dead sets in general...but YOU know that : )

I have enjoyed all of my Umphreys shows...they are not like the "hippy jam bands" (whom I love), but rather a progressive rock band that also jams...very good light show and all around good musicians....Pony, the bassist is pretty amazing ever get the chance to see em, I would recommend it

NoSaint or any one else with experience: - ever been to the bar French 75, apparantely attached to Arrnaud's Rest?? I am reading great reviews on yelp/google...looking for a locals insider informartion.....I do smoke cigars so the fact that its a cigar bar (how I came across it) does not turn me away from it.....it looks like they make world class drinks (it was on esquires top 5 bars in America last year or the year before) - ever been? is it usually pretty packed? better to go on weekend or a monday when it would be presumably less busy?? Thinkin about starting one of my nights there (opens at 530 according to their website)

Bmore has a lot of quality free agents they need to resign - and not a whole lot as far as "cuttable" cap space...have to resign flacco, ellerbee and kruger - all who could command close to top 5 money at their position...they will lose AT LEAST one of these guys....

he threw for 250 yards and had 3 TDs, also ran for 42 yards (because his line is terrible and he was forced to run) - not to mention he led a last minute TD drive to tie up the game, only to have his special teams blow it on the ensuing kickoff - I didnt think he looked too bad? I mean, they lost the game to UB - but that had more to do with terrible team around Dysert - he didnt make mistakes...his team is just bad...
