  1. omg....Lacy to the Colts would be sick (for them) - that offense could really get dangerous
  2. not to split hairs here, but I am going to.... Thread title says what TV SITCOM CHARACTERS would you invite to dinner party....therefore, all of you suggesting characters from Drama's should go and start your own thread....as the poster was clearly talking about Sitcom characters.... endrant
  3. hell yes to the blue grass
  4. now im jonesing to watch Dr. Strangelove "Gentlemen, you cant fight in here...this is the war room!!!!"
  5. personally LOVE the coining of WHIX - i havent seen/heard it before, TPS gets credit in my book for WHIX unless it can be otherwise proven.... kudos
  6. im going to see Workingman's Dead - obviously a Dead cover band, tonight!! looking forward to it, they put on a good show....
  7. I couldnt agree more....now im really hoping he bring Mike DeVito with him (FA DT from the jets) who has made a habit of abusing the bills the past couple seasons - among other teams....he is a true animal and can play in both 3-4 and 4-3 schemes...plus points thats hes 6'4 and 305 pounds...would love that FA sign to add depth and talent to the D-line, allowing us to draft other positions of need
  8. same as it always should be, BPA - but gotta reach for a QB some time....
  9. im intrigued.....if anything tragic happens to my wife in the next few months, perhaps ill give it a shot?
  10. ive watched a lot of cuse....most is pretty spot on, but a good overall quick glimpse..... - SU did utilize a LOT of screen passes over the past couple of seasons, and had very good success with this - they do run the ball and do run it out of power I and other two TE sets - they have a good 'up tempo' pace when they want to (and not just limited to two minute drills)
  11. yea, none of the above....we would need and use them all as DT and DE's
  12. thanks, already read all the gun forums for advice/tips...just like asking around, using all my resources, lookin for the best "secret"
  13. he also has good ties to Mike McCoy - so I would bet that if McCoy gets a head job somewhere, if Trgovac still wants to be a d-cord, he may end up wherever McCoy ends up
  14. im not saying I want him or I dont, but I dont fault the guy for waiting a couple days before making a huge decision.... your scenario: you just get let go from your job, you have several interviews immediately lined up, all high paying jobs, and one potentially being your "dream job" - would YOU say yes to the first job offer (if there was even a job offer right after the first interview)? or would you go to all of the interviews, see which job fit you best, especially if one is your dream job? come on, give the guy a break haha
  15. i find it interesting that he voluntarily left a job as a d-cordinator to take a d-line job at green bay....
  16. FINALLY my boy Manuel is gettin some love from TBD - I was on an island for a long time....guess we just needed to talk "Parcells" and people start coming around haha... for real, im not saying Manuel is gauranteed to light the world on fire from jumpstreet....I just think he has all of the tools, has done it week in and week out against the best competition in college ball, and can still grow in mechanics (which arent bad) and accurarcy (which isnt bad) with the right coach/offensive scheme...he seems to be "the best of the bunch" and im willing to take a gamble on him - especially in round two....
  17. what do you guys use for cleaner and then lubricant? just curious...thinkin bout switching brands and wondering what my fellow TBDers use....
  18. the wire is the best show ever created BB is in the top 3-5 fo sho
  19. already been reported he received permission, no?
  20. came in to say this....you beat me, you win...im not worthy has he for SURE said hes going back to Bama? Maybe he wants to three-peat - and I wouldnt doubt they will have you seen a picture of his uber-gay chest tattoo though? it makes me question his mental accumen
  21. creative coaches please! coaches with experience, and coaches who will adapt to fit the roster the only thing I care about is NO MORE forcing square pegs to fit circular holes!
  22. ahhhhhh, college football section....where good posts go to die
  23. cool, yea the last dinner plans came down to ACME or Red Fish - so we will plan for ACME and then Red Fish if weather is bad or wait is beyond terrible we booked a city trip/katrina trip with Celebration Tours instead of doing a swamp tour (winter) - so hopefully that will let us view a little more of the city than what we will accomplish walking around FQ and uptown... Thanks again for all your help in helping us plan our trip...ill def let ya know how it turns out! looking forward to the Big Easy
  24. some have never had oysters so want to try them there...but apparently the grilled oysters are unique to ACME or something? (im personally not into oysters at all - i will be eating my fill of shrimp) - but if you say its worth the wait, then ill back off trying to talk them out of it.......and about the wait, if we go at peak hours and the waits long, I can go get a hand grenade (the drink) or hurricane and bring it while I wait, correct? that actually sounds like quite the plan
  25. question for NoSaint (and anyone else in New Orleans or who has a suggestion) my group really wants a fresh seafood rest. night (I told them, its all fresh seafood) - but they particularly want oysters...they seem to be set on ACME Oyster Bar...my question, is it worth the long wait? we are going for dinner one of the nights, so it will be packed (probably sunday night) - is there another, better oyster place option that I can sway them too rather than ACME?
