[closed]I think you have to pin this loss on Stevie
Rob's House replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have you ever heard of taking one for the team? -
I've never gotten the group shower thing or why people walk around the locker room naked. I graduated from HS in 95 and occasionally a few guys would shower after gym, but it was rare. I never partook and have no desire to be naked in the presence of other men unless we're doing high 5s over some chick's back. I feel dirty & disturbed just from having read this thread.

Nine games played,we are looking at the draft
Rob's House replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If y'all get a chance check out Mettenberger from LSU. I've only seen a few of his games, but he looks like the real deal. Good arm, accurate, finds the open guy. He's not fast but at 6'5", 230 lb. he's got ideal size. If I was trying to build a franchise I'd take him in the 1st and his best WR Odell Beckam (sp?) in the second, if they were available. -
He certainly fits a need, although I don't think he's got the weight to play TE. I see him more as a V Jackson type receiver if his game translates to the NFL. One concern I have is he comes off like he's mildly retarded, but if he can produce, hey.

I'm with you. I've said it elsewhere, but I'm afraid we'll have a top QB prospect available when we pick, and we'll pass on him b/c we went all in on EJ, & then we find out EJ is more Jason Campbell than Juice Newton and we're back at square 1.

Bills Need A Power Running Game
Rob's House replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know that Frank Summers is that guy (although it'd be nice to see us try it at least once) but I'm thinking of someone more along the lines of Mike Tolbert, Peyton Hillis, McGahee, or Alstott type guy. I was high on Jalston Fowler (AL), but he's been injured and his status after recovery remains to be seen. I'd also like a Colt Lyerla (OR) style player - a TE/FB/HB who is versatile, big, strong, tough, and aggressive - He seems to have gone off the tracks, but I'd still take a flier on him a la Da'Rick. And I think our O-line is good, but a steam roller LG would help here too. -
Yes, we have great backs - CJ is the most explosive back in the league and Fred is a great all around back and team leader, but we don't have anyone to act as a bull dozer and plow through the line for that extra yard on the goal line. Sadly, we haven't had that since Willis McGahee left town (and don't even think to say Lynch, he didn't run with effective power until his second year in Seattle), which not coincidentally was the last time we had a winning season. If we had a power running game, with a bowling ball style runner or a big bodied straight line power back, we'd have won today and we'd have won against Cinci too.

Oh my !@#$ing God. What did you guys expect out of a UDFA rookie? Yeah, he was bad. It's funny because when our first round pick sucks ass we're all reminded that he's a rookie, but when a guy who's lucky to make the roster plays a similarly poor game we get unbridled outrage. Simmer down, people. I know it's aggravating. I'm mad too, but let's not blast this kid for being in this position.

Jags WR Justin Blackmon Suspended Indefinitely
Rob's House replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get why the league even tests for the stuff. I get testing for steroids, but pot is hardly a performance enhancing drug. Are they worried that he'll eat up all the donuts at the team meeting? I already feel sorry for you. -
LAX in lockdown - shooting at the airport
Rob's House replied to Just Jack's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's funny how the political leanings of these crazed killers is essential to understanding their motivations until they prove to be leftists, then it becomes an irrelevant coincidence. -
I've not researched this thoroughly so perhaps I've missed something. Aren't these subsidies part of the Medicaid expansion & only available to people in states that signed on?

20 passes from a rookie UDFA seeing his first NFL action coming off the bench in prime time in the 5th game of the season on the road told me everything I'll ever need to know about the guy. If you can't be cool collected & proficient in that scenario what hope is there?

"Plan B" is Hillarycare, but really that was the plan all along.

I'm still trying to figure out how these exchanges add value for anyone. So far I've got nothing.

Belichick and Pats Wanted EJ Manuel

Since they liked him so much, think they'd give a 2nd for him? -
Official Bills Only-Talk Thread - PPP Style
Rob's House replied to IDBillzFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
To put this thread back to its stated purpose: What's with all the brain dead dipshits that have declared Flynn the sorriest POS to ever suit up on account of SEA & OAK cutting ties? In SEA he lost out to Russel Wilson, one of the top young QBs in the league, & they didn't want to pay starter money to a back up. So I really don't see how we get to Flynn sucks from here, so I guess most of these tards are deferring to the Oakland braintrust to do their thinking for them. So moving on to OAK. Two things are going on here: 1. R. Pryor played a lot better than anyone expected, 2. OAK wants to utilize an athletic QB in their offense (Flynn doesn't fit that). And let's not forget OAK is the team that cut their 4th rd rookie QB before the start of the season. This isn't a conventionally run team. So as far as I can tell he's garbage b/c he lost out to Russel Wilson & b/c of a decision Oakland made. Pretty compelling **** right there. -
My Thoughts Got Blown Up......
Rob's House replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I couldn't tell if it was poor line play or if the defense just fully committed to the run, but it seemed like Jackson & Choice both had someone in their face as soon as they touched the ball. -
[closed]Bills will beat Chiefs

I agree the Bills will beat the Chiefs. But then, I also thought the Bills would beat the Saints, so...
