  1. Fitz certainly had his draw backs, and he did have a penchant for late game turnovers, but if any QB ever deserved the benefit of excuses for not having a surrounding cast it's him. If any other team were going into the season with SJ, Donald Jones, David Nelson, & Scott Chandler as the top 4 receiving options I don't think we'd expect much. Not to mention he played behind an OL that curiously started to suck once he left. And we had one of the worst defensive units in the league while he was here. All things equal, I thought he played well here. I'd have still wanted to look for an upgrade, but I wouldn't have cut him until we had that upgrade.
  2. My daughter picked them up somewhere and we played hell trying to get rid of them. Her long hair complicated matters, but we tried everything - lice shampoo, oil, we even put mayonaise in her hair, and combed it to death with the metal nit picks - and the Damn things kept coming back. Finally we found professionals who drowned her hair in some oil blend and combed it out with metal picks and that got rid of them. The primary difference between what they did and what we'd been doing was they used a lot more oil. They also seemed to have a more organized method of combing to cover the whole head. We live in a nice area - Everyone in our park keeps their trailer in good maintenance, and we make her bathe at least once a week, and use soap if we got it, but that doesn't always work. Intresfingly, during all that time, even lying on the same pillow with her at times, I never got it. And no, I'm not bald.
  3. Give yourself a slow clap for being the more racially sensitive than the average bear. Used to be a hypersensitive man was considered a kitty, but now it's commendable. You're quite a guy. Your flaw was assuming thought was involved.
  4. Andrew Luck. He pretends to be this nice wholesome guy, but once he punches the clock it's party round the clock, no tell hotels, hookers, and blow. And he hates children and puppies.
  5. The real question is who fact checks Politifact?
  6. They didn't ask him to "restructure," they asked him to take a big pay cut, and no one volunteers to take less money to be a "team player".
  7. So you're saying the Dominican Republic is known for having world class academic abilities?
  8. ESPN proved to be a bunch of PC kitties about this. I don't give a !@#$ about Cowherd but I have less than no respect for anyone who wants to **** on him for being racist. You P.C., bro?
  9. He sounds reasonably intelligent, but in a media world of dynamic and charismatic speakers he falls a little flat. Fortunately, a GM's job is to build a team, not sound like a talk show host. I thought we liked Rex? No? Why am I always the last to know?
  10. Well put. I liked what he said better than what his apologists say for him: that he didn't really mean what he said. I can understand that. We all spout off at times and say things we don't mean, but we're not celebrities with fans that may be offended and take it to social media for a week and change. I'm sure he learned a lesson and I think we should forgive and forget. But as you say, he said what he said. Revis will wish he were on an island after Thursday night. On the bright side he may get inked for a SW "Wanna get away" commercial.
  11. I always liked Kasich when he filled in for the Leprechaun (back when I used to watch cable news) and even though I have no idea what his positions are, the fact that every left-wing Obama loving socialist I know likes him tells me he sucks.
  12. It's a little disheartening that he hasn't picked up more support. Looks like flair trumps substance in Obama's America.
  13. That may be true, but Tyrod can only dream of growing a beard like Fitz's.
  14. Lebretard is pretty bad. I like that he prefers more nuanced analysis to typical stat geek garbage, but his high pitched whiney voice and mind numbing and pandering racial commentary cause me to change the channel.
  15. I don't think the contract was the mistake; I think cutting him was. We spent the following 3 seasons trying to replace him (Kolb, Orton, Cassel).
  16. Sounds like you and Reagan had some common ground after all.
  17. If he keeps doing what he did on Sunday even a-holes like me will give it up to Whaley for making a ballsy move.
  18. Ricky Williams as a middle aged white man.
  19. I don't think any FO should ever have a position earmarked for a particular pick. It should be based on the player.
  20. I went to bed thinking I just lost to a guy who started a QB & K who were on a bye. Luckily Matt Forte's injury saved my season.
  21. He's not a burner, not is he terribly big. But he's a tough guy with good hands who has enough athletic ability to get open and make plays. He's also a good blocker and he fights for extra yards. You're not likely to see him in the pro-bowl, but he's a solid NFL WR who makes the team better.
  22. It's one of my favorites.
  23. Well technically he cost 8 1sts but all we gave up was a conditional 7th in 2017.
  24. With big jobs come big expectations.
  25. I'm waiting for the guy who's worried that he can no longer take his kids to the game for fear of them being exposed to poor sportsmanship. #whataboutthechildren
