You're missing the bigger point, which is if the defense not only scored points but shut the other team down, the running game was on fire, and the WRs were flawless, EJ might have played well enough to squeak by the worst team in the league.
I think that's an overstatement, but he's not the worst 2nd stringer out there IMO.
Stats are for losers. Dalton moved the ball at will on consistently short fields (many of those short fields were a direct result of EJ) and could have easily racked up more. Comparing head to head passing yards in an individual game to assess QB competency is beyond idiotic.
