  2. Payton didn't get great production out of Reggie Bush either. We saw with Chan that Spiller's skill set can be used to great effect. He's just limited in other areas and has to be used in a particular way to be consistently productive.
  3. As happy as I am about Edelman missing the game against the Bills, this broken foot kind of throws a monkey wrench in my fantasy plans. I don't want to finish the season behind a tranny's vagina.
  4. That SOB's been a Godsend.
  5. I don't wish any long term harm on any of these guys, but I hope Brady is held out next week with a nasty yeast infection.
  6. There's just something magical about watching your fantasy QB throw an 87 yd TD to your fantasy WR on his first pass of the game.
  7. No excuses.
  8. Except for when you don't. By that logic you could say that because one year the Pats went 11-5 and didn't make it, we therefore need 12. If we lose next Monday it's over.
  9. Some years 9 wins does it. Who gives a **** what some people said last year? Either 9 wins gets us in or it doesn't.
  10. You're missing the bigger point, which is if the defense not only scored points but shut the other team down, the running game was on fire, and the WRs were flawless, EJ might have played well enough to squeak by the worst team in the league. I think that's an overstatement, but he's not the worst 2nd stringer out there IMO. Stats are for losers. Dalton moved the ball at will on consistently short fields (many of those short fields were a direct result of EJ) and could have easily racked up more. Comparing head to head passing yards in an individual game to assess QB competency is beyond idiotic.
  11. I don't understand that at all. Why should Rex blackball IK if he thinks he would be a positive addition to the team? It would be like if a restaurant manager got fired from Applebees and got a job at Fridays, then picked up a bartender he'd hired at his previous job who got fired for laying out the sous chef. I don't think anyone would say that was a dick move.
  12. I gotta say, as nice as it is to no longer be anchored to EJ as the entrenched starter, it would be nice to see him go on to a semi-successful NFL career. I kind of feel sorry for him because he seems like such a good dude and has had to endure a humiliating fall down the depth chart and scathing criticisms from fans and critics. Then I remember that he's a multi-millionaire in his mid 20s who got to be a starting NFL QB and probably had his pick of the finest trim FSU had to offer, and then I don't feel so bad.
  13. You remind me of this Hollywood a-hole that used to post around here.
  14. He absolutely nailed it.
  15. That's where I concluded that the writer was a huge kitty.
  16. Sounds like a butt hurt Jets fan. Or maybe Rex gave his wife a good rodgering.
  17. If we can't go 4-3 against that schedule then we don't belong in the playoffs. 9-7 probably gets us in this year. If not the Jax game will go down in infamy.
  18. No doubt. He had Revis beat like a drum.
  19. Lesean McCoy was nothing short of amazing tonight. The defense looked like we had expected. Let's hope it's a sign of things to come. I like Tyrod Taylor, but I still have reservations. The Redskins !@#$ed up letting Rambo go. Their loss is our gain. Fitz was awesome tonight. His receivers let him down, but we got lucky. Anyone who thinks otherwise knows hack **** about football. I don't care what the numbers say, Sammy Watkins was impressive. I know he had the drop, but Revis will probably be walking around in ankle braces this week.
  20. I don't like it. I thought this was one of those gimmick uniform games. Hopefully it won't last.
  21. Kinda surprised by this. I mean, yeah, EJ wasn't good when he played, but with the exception of 5 minutes in the second quarter of the Jax game I thought he played well enough to get the nod over a street FA signed a few weeks ago. Yet another crushing blow to The EJ Fanboys of America.
  22. Oh. That makes more sense. I don't agree that we had to take one in the first, but we definitely needed to draft a QB prospect.
  23. He had good RBs. wow. What's your point? I'll never understand this argument. A bird in the hand... Why drop your decent journeyman vet when all you've got are raw projects? Makes no sense.
