There is some validity to the statement that players grow tired of a coaches message after a period of time when it doesn’t lead to championships. Sometimes a new coach comes in and takes that same team to a championship. That doesn’t seem like the “Billsy” thing to do though.

This situation right now is exactly why he was drafted.

Josh Allen.

Josh leads by example on the field. I don't recall ever seeing him get on another player that is not playing up to the level that is expected. Somebody needs to hold players accountable on the field and get their head in the game when needed. Is that the role of the QB or the coach? It doesn't seem to be Josh's nature to act like "Tom Brady". Some guys play like they are having fun. Some guys play like it is life or death. They don't always agree.

Both Milano and Bernard are undersized heat seeking missiles. The way they play you have to expect some injuries. Dorian Williams should be ready to push them this year too. Bad things man.

I expect him to be a better and more focused head coach now that Bobby Babich is the DC and will handle that side of the ball on game day.

Even if Von plays like the pre injury Von, I still think he needs to play sparingly until playoff time.

We have seen Shakir and what he can do already. He just needs to maintain the same consistency. Nobody thought Bernard was going to play anywhere near as well as he did when he was thrust into a starting role with the loss of Edmunds. He really looked lost the year before. I don't know who is going to surprise us like that this year. Would like to see a rookie rise up and take a starting position.
