  1. better prospects have been gone quicker without second thought
  2. the common sense answer would be it’s a local and not a state guideline. I don’t know that factually but....
  3. that’s right! So 4 full playbooks and 5 OCs inside of 22ish months
  4. To be fair, in February he received his 4th playbook in less than 2 calendar years 1st year AZ kliff welcome to miami chan hell of a “welcome to the pros”
  5. you have to wonder if he’s just fried at this point. he might’ve had the worst situation of a generation of first rounders and once you break the confidence and developmental cycle it’s hard to get them squared back up. I wouldn’t mind it but despite thinking he was a good prospect I wouldn’t expect much
  6. I’d consider putting a claim in for shaquem Griffen
  7. its the same expectation as a UDFA thread here or cut day, signing day, or general non sports breaking news etc... at pretty much every other board I read. It just means the person that starts it plans to be around for a good bit of the day or you wait and let someone else do it that can do regular updates. It makes your job easier and the board better and for some reason it’s always gets disregarded as being needy when brought up instead of a chance to “train up” expectation
  8. If doing these style threads though they need to get done right or they actually make it harder for most to keep up
  9. if two teams want them you guarantee it for a 2027 8th rounder
  10. Mentioned it in yolos bills cut thread. if starting mega threads can the OP update news at the top? Otherwise it’s actually harder to find info diving through 10 pages instead of individual topics
  11. not always but probably sometimes you are willing to deal your 6 instead of cut your 7 if it’s not a big difference to you and someone will give you any value.
  12. if starting threads like this, mind updating the OP with a list of updates? always like taking the swing at ultra talented prospects late. Even if they can’t put the pieces together, 99% of late picks will struggle anyway. May as well work it with a gifted athlete
  13. yea - whether a first watch or revisiting its fantastic. Couldn’t recommend it more the acting and the actual cinematography are out of this world. If it’s not a perfect 10 it’s only that the end of the investigation could have been a little more grand. But maybe that’s me wanting a little magic to match the quality and what’s actually great is that they didn’t make it magic though.
  14. Just rewatched season 1 of true detective. Remains excellent and was a good spacing of time since the first watch for anyone thinking of options
  15. In general, I’m cool without one and having more of a single back offense. id rather see beasley or brown get a shot downfield in coverage late in important games
  16. Yup. fills a nice niche with this roster and without a huge long term commitment can age off the roster as young guys get pay days. A set with ertz, diggs, brown, beasley, and singletary is actually elite instead of good. And has more depth. And somehow have a ring
  17. you know how you get a bye week, and just 2 home wins needed to reach the super bowl? know how you get stuck trying to win 3 on the road to get there? having an overstocked roster with a wide array of guys that can step up is a great play instead of sitting on your hands. I won’t say beane is sitting on his hands but some fans are terrified of being the favorite instead of an underdog.
  18. “Mahomes probably wouldn’t be as good in our offense” ”let’s build that offense” ”hold on, let’s see what these guys can do” contender adds another weapon ”how do they do that?!? They will regret it someday”
  19. bingo. and if we are 12-2 with a shot at homefield and a bye week... and take an injury or two in the passing game... I’m all for having a surplus of proven commodities instead of seeing who might be able to step up. not a pressing need to be a playoff contender. The type of move you think about if you think you are a super bowl contender.
  20. At Las Vegas and against a Tannehill lead Tennessee team shouldn’t be terribly intimidating. You might not win them all but games like that should be expected wins most of the time for a contender
  21. Heaven forbid we put the chips on the table like the chiefs or other contenders. Im not saying ertz has to be that guy but how’s the time you make that move and get rings, not wait and see.
  22. I enjoy how everyone here is the good drinker among the group of sloppy folks around them. either a fantastic self selection of participants or maybe less than perfect self awareness
  23. How many people died in the house? is it on a burial ground? do any family members have a history of being cursed or otherwise tied to the occult?
  24. that kamara was hurt last year was the issue. he did not play great for a long stretch despite being a great player
