  1. and then there he goes to the locker room after wasting a bunch of time.
  2. Feels like getting immediately on a cart and getting to the locker room for a better wrap and shot would be a worthwhile investment. Even if he misses a drive, if it gives him any mobility for the next 40 mins it’d be good.
  3. no “I bet,” every team does this before the playoffs.
  4. the bengals have sold tickets for next weeks potential bengals jags matchup this is just an unintelligent player being unintelligent
  5. I really think we see cook/hynes as the 1-2, and then a value add with whoever the odd man out is on the dozen or so starting running back free agents
  6. counter: it’s easy to not like that attitude and think it puts him in a category that’ll be high risk to ruin his future because he doesn’t see himself as more than a football player. counter: it’s easy to not like that attitude and think it puts him in a category that’ll be high risk to ruin his future because he doesn’t see himself as more than a football player.
  7. I’m way cooler than this guy.
  8. I wouldn’t complain either - hotel booked and hoping to get ahead of the secondary market if anyone wants to help a guy out
  9. he’s in the Payton manning in Denver phase. excellent motivator, good on field coach and could be a fine caretaker in the right system. He’s a distributor and not a guy that will carry an offense though. You need several players better than his current ability on the team.
  10. He will love having Garrett off the edge. If the front four gets pressure he will be excellent. I don’t recall offhand who they have inside but a premiere pass rusher in the middle would be the other piece he really requires
  11. It can be a grey issue instead of black and white. you don’t try to turn favre into brees or Bree’s into favre but you can work on softening either one’s pain points (picking a random gunslinger and a random dink and dunker)
  12. I don’t know if you caught it but they are actually a lower seed. Teams have beat them.
  13. yea, if you are lined up or matched poorly on a big play why would you fix it
  14. honestly, I don’t think you can really factor the result of the play on those ones at all. I did not like the attempt to force the review. It cost a play attempt and you know ny is looking even if the ref didn’t. I thought the last second on 4th was odd with the impending delay of game but sure he saw something
  15. Bills much needed arrogance won again. it’s easy, right?
  16. cant have turnovers on this scale but we absolutely could beat the 3 seed like this because they are imperfect too.
  17. I wouldn’t have been opposed telling the refs “when my guys see zeros they are firing off the ball. Make the call” if it was getting too far out of hand. that said, I suspect it felt worse to us than it was also how was that possibly such an issue all day? Just catastrophic. Let the kid get to the line and get his read in unrushed. Coaches failing him on the timing many times
  18. You know what’s crazy - it’s not even “otherwise he was great” it’s simply “he only missed one tackle- just great.”
  19. Sometimes you have to let the guys be who they are when they carry you to what would’ve been the best 17 game record in the conference after today
  20. It’s partially the mechanics of the call. The ref sees zeros then looks to the ball. It can’t be instant.
  21. Having both medical teams in the building next week and could fly in some hospital staff- would bring to house down to walk them all out of the tunnel
  22. he may be a perfect case study in could fitz take a loaded team to the Super Bowl. many of fitzs terrible plays came late in the game when there was no more waiting for another down for someone else to make magic and he had to just make the play himself. Suddenly he had to throw 50-50 balls that for a premiere qb are 75-25.
  23. it’s true. And he’s been gifted a turnover creating machine on the other side. at some point your qb generally needs to go win games, and not just avoid losing them. Is he that guy? I don’t think so. Could he go deep this year as a caretaker? For sure.
  24. I think it’s the wishy washy terms like good talent causing a bit of strife in the conversation. What level career are you projecting with that? im going with fine enough caretaker but not long term starter. I can call that a good talent. I think many are aiming much higher with that type of terminology though.
  25. let’s give fitz the huge contract and ignore context! I don’t think he will melt down any minute. I do not think he will have CMC, deebo, kittle, aiyuk, Trent Williams and a monster defense around him long term though. And that becomes an issue. It also may be a challenge as the windows get smaller down the stretch and he’s not the upper echelon talent - but with so much talent around him, the windows may stay wide enough for now. I do not think you could drop him in the Buffalo offense and see success. A testament to the guy we have.
